First off I want to start by saying I absolutely appreciate and love my Doctor and the clinic itself.
He is amazing and informative and thorough and the clinic is clean no issues there.

The real issue is that some of the receptionists are rude and lack clear communication, not only that but the tone and attitude when you give them a call is uncalled for and extremely unprofessional.

I really hope that the owner of this clinic go through these reviews and proceeds to retrain or hire staff that are capable of doing their jobs professionally. While I do understand that being a reception for a health care clinic is not easy, kindness is also free and goes a long way.

Dr Hamdi has been my physician for many years (10+). She is one of the most thorough doctors and always follows up with her patients. She Gives patients their time and needs. Reception needs work with phone calls and relaying msgs but I have been following Dr Hamdi from one clinic to another. Truly the best.

I had a very disturbing experience at this clinic that left me feeling deeply disrespected and likely discriminated against.

I booked a 9:35 a.m. appointment in advance because one of us was in severe physical pain. Despite arriving early, we watched at least nine people—many walk-ins—of other racial backgrounds (White, Black, East Indian) come and go ahead of us. We are Indigenous.

When I asked at the desk at 1040 why we were still waiting after more than an hour, the receptionist dismissed our appointment as a “walk-in” and gave contradictory excuses. After I pushed back, she promised we'd be next—but then called in another family instead. Only after further confrontation were we finally brought in, but we were then left in a room for another 20-30 minutes. We didn't end up leaving the clinic until 20 after 11.

It felt like we were being ignored, lied to, and deprioritized because of our race. Whether intentional or systemic, this is not okay—and people should know.

If you’re Indigenous or from a marginalized community, please be aware. If you're a clinic administrator reading this: your staff needs cultural sensitivity training and accountability.

This is the first time I visit the clinic. I have just booked the first appointment with Dr. Bakare as my family doctor. I was impressed how welcome they were. The front desk staff were very nice and informative. They have children books and toys to keep my kids busy when we were waiting. Dr. Bakare explained our concerns very clearly. He was also very patient with my kids. One more point that I love this clinic is that they provide tea, coffee and water for clients when waiting. I'm glad that I still have a chance to get a family doctor in Calgary.

I booked online right before going for a walk-in appointment, and I’m glad I chose this clinic! Everyone I interacted with was kind, compassionate and professional, and the wait wasn’t long at all!

My regular family doctor tends to book out weeks in advance, so I’ll definitely be coming here again the next time I need to be seen by a doctor quickly!

This clinic excels in cleanliness and medical expertise - the doctors are top-notch and provide excellent care. However, the reception team's customer service falls short. I've experienced disrespect and a lack of empathy from the receptionist, which can be frustrating.

Phone etiquette also needs improvement. I've been kept on hold for lengthy periods, even when the clinic isn't busy. With better front-desk service, this clinic would truly stand out. For now, the good medical care is overshadowed by these issues.

Dr. Hamdi is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen. She’s compassionate, caring, thorough, knowledgeable and she takes everything seriously. I would give her 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

The reception is hit or miss unfortunately but the physicians are both great.

I just moved to Calgary and couldn't speak English well, but the receptionist with long hair was really nice and I was impressed. She's the most grateful person I've ever met in Calgary. I want to go again, even if it's for her.
