I’d give zero stars to this hospital for the way they are treating my step father. The head nurse needs to learn respect towards patient’s! Alberta health services will be called to file a complaint as well. He had major surgery in Edmonton and they sent him back to Bonnyville to be cared for by them with the orders of the surgeon and when the surgeon went on holidays bonnyville head nurse and doctor told my parents that he will be sent home as there are no beds, when we checked the hospital, there were plenty of beds empty and other nurses said there are empty beds and wasn’t sure where we heard this!!! This is disgusting and pure laziness of this hospital! No one cares unless it happens to their family members or themselves. Get another line of work if you can’t do your job.

Worst hospital around tell you your x rays look good and force you to wait 6+ hours for a simple antibiotic done by iv when you already have a iv in your arm, go to coldlake and your X-rays show not good at all and your in and out in a timely matter. If you want to die due to negligences go to Bonnyville hospital.

Very long wait times due to constant doctor shortages, alot of the staff don't seem to care at all, not the cleanest, not the best doctors, terrible food if staying. Only giving 2 stars because some doctors are still brave enough to care for people here and should be commeneded, we desperately need more doctors in the area

absolute joke. only one doctor working when there are so many patients waiting to get checked up. does this show how much you care about people who are in desperate need of help? 1 doctor? you can do better than that, wake up the other doctors who are laid back or snoozing and have more than 1 doctor on standby.

I have never even been there, and I do not like that hospital at all. My daughter went there with my son and sat there for 7 hours.
If I could rate them −1 million stars, I would do that.

The doctors and nurses really don’t care about you. They all think you’re exaggerating if you’re in pain. They all think you’re drug seeking if you say you’re in pain. They also have to Google most things because they’re not very good at their job.

They judge you based on your race ( if you’re indigenous they don’t take you seriously). You better be dead or dying if you want a doctor in cold lake/bonnyville. Even then the chances of them being able to save you is slim to none considering how incompetent they all are.

Funny how this country will give addicts a “safe supply” but they won’t give people who are in pain anything.

Totally bad experience. in emergency, there are 4-5 hours wait with 2-3 patients and it's not a joke 4 doctors see only one patient at a time 😆😆

Hands down best c-section experience out of the 3 of my babies. The other two I had were in the city and I can’t express it enough that the Bonnyville team did such an amazing job. The nurses were outstanding just as much as the doctors. Dr.fouche kept me informed on what was going on during the procedure telling me exactly what was happening to put my mind at ease and for that I thank all of the wonderful staff.
