For a small town we are lucky to have so many doctors that work hard for us. Dr De Freitas and his nurse were beyond caring. He made my 3 year olds first visit to the doctor so pleasant. I feel like the staff went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience.

Really disappointed in this clinic as of lately. Took literal months to get insurance paperwork filled with them. Fought tooth and nail with the office manager to even get them to accept forms via email. Coming from a half hour out of town I explained that I wouldn't be able to make a trip just to drop off blank paperwork. Finally convinced them to accept the forms via email only to wait approximately 2 and a half months for them to be filled. To add insult to injury they filled the incorrect dates and then attempted to charge me for the revision! By the time I was finally called to pick up the paperwork it was days before my insurance claim expired and being on shift at the time I couldn't get to bonnyville in time to pick it up resulting in my claim being dismissed. Inattentive, tardy and generally unpleasant to deal with. If this privately owned clinic is a testament to the quality of private medical care then I want no part of it.

I have no confidence in these so called “doctors”. Make sure you have them explore all options before they collect your money and send you out the door. Canadian healthcare is so bad right now you’ll probably die before these people determine what is wrong. If you think it’s something serious save your money and go to Edmonton. At least there the doctors are actually worth the degree they’ve been given.

I used to love being able to make an appointment and just get in and out. Now you've made it almost impossible on anyone on the other end of town with children in the winter without a vehicle to get their kids in. Just to get up so early in the morning just to have to wait forever at 8 am in line to make an appointment for potentially a way later time in the day is quite stressful now that it's getting so cold.

This facility is very clean and well run. The techs are pretty wonderful along with the receptionists..the only reason I am deducting 2 points is because of the policy that your support person cannot be in the room with you until after the fact. I really don’t understand who would treat these medical appointments as parties..maybe adjust the rule to “you and your support person must remain silent until...”
I feel heartbroken for all the women who don’t see a heartbeat on that monitor and are alone for that dreadful moment.

Not to mention when you are finding out the sex of your baby..they refuse to write the information down for you (so you can open the envelope in private or plan a gender reveal)..the policy is you need to bring a person with you who can be told the sex. I find this extremely silly and unreasonable.

Their policy is that everyone needs to phone and make an appointment for a walk in clinic. However it’s impossible to get through the line Trying for multiple days for extended periods of time to be told there are no more appointments even after phoning when the clinic opens. And They suggest people over to The emergency room that don’t need the emergency room.

Called to see if there was anything anyone could do to help me with a sunburn and to see if I could get a doctors note. And I could FOR $50 I don’t have that kind of money. Honestly they shouldn’t even be allowed to charge for a doctors note because NOT EVERYONE HAS THE MONEY TO PAY FOR ONE!!!!!!!

I've had all good experiences at the women's clinic, pre natal appointments and with our family doctor Stephen Stein. Any issues I've voiced were promptly dealt with.
