Update on my post - I called a week ago to speak with the Urgent Care Manager Trish. I left a message with an Urgent Care receptionist but have not heard back. I called again today and left a message. My complaint is with Dr. Subramaniam. She was very unprofessional bordering on rude. I am still struggling with the same symptoms. Luckily I see my family doctor tomorrow.

Previous post:
I attended the Urgent Care yesterday. The Reception and Nurse that saw me were lovely. The doctor however, was not. My experience with her was dismissive and rushed. She barely let me utter a word. She gave me a super fast assessment and told me that she was going to prescribe me some medication. I did not go in for medication. I was hoping for some ideas as to what might be going on and some reassurance that it wasn't serious. She lacked empathy and appeared to have no time for me. I left feeling very frustrated and upset.

Came in today to get a prescription refilled. Although there was a line at the door when it opened or about 20 or so people ahead of me, it only took roughly 45 minutes to get seen and out the door! Incredible! Plus the doctor was extremely sweet and friendly. Overall excellent experience for a walk in clinic.

After a 3 month wait for a 4 o'clock appointment with Dr. Umeadi at a place that seems more intent on taking parking money for drop-offs than looking after patients.15 min early and 40 min wait after the scheduled time in an almost empty waiting room is unacceptable. No communication about any delay, nothing. The uncaring attitude is simply disgusting and made my father more uptight than he was going in there. Shame shame shame!
the simple fact that you are replying for "tenants" explains a lot about how and why this clinic exists.

This is for Urgent Care clinic:

The clinic itself is very clean, staff is friendly but what I don't understand is that why do some patients who come into the clinic, especially those with a very bad cough, not wear a mask? Especially with another wave of the virus circulating...This is how germs spread. We can all do our part and protect ourselves and look out for others by wearing our masks.

I understand that some people, for certain health reasons, cannot wear a mask but what about everyone else? Why does the clinic staff not enforce this or put a sign? We are all putting our health at risk by doing so...

I wish I could give them a zero. On May 21, 2024. I entered in to the clinic at 7:10 pm. There were 2 people sitting in the waiting room. I approached the nurses station and she turned me away saying they’re not accepting anymore patients. I then said you guys are open till 8pm? She replied yes but we are not accepting and more patients.

I left to go to the hospital in bowmanville to see a 14 hr wait time.

This is what we have for our healthcare these days. A doctor in urgent care that wants to leave early?

If this is the case. Put a sign on your door saying saying not accepting any new patients after 7pm!!!!

My review is only for the urgent care. The rest of the building is phenomenal (specially the ladies in Radiology- they’ve always been so nice and helpful!) but urgent care was awful. I am recently postpartum but can’t get into my doctor for almost a month. I’ve been struggling with insane pain-like I almost constantly feel like I’m going back into labour and I can’t even lie on my back it hurts too much. Doctor I saw already decided before she came into the room that I was just constipated, asked like three yes or no questions and told me to keep a food journal (I am celiac and have kept a food journal and strict diet for years now) and she didn’t even examine me. She pushed on my stomach a few times not even close to where I said the pain was and told me I probably just had a lot of gas build up. I had to fight to get a pelvic ultrasound. I have made call to my doctors office requesting my doctor call me with the results because I don’t ever want to see or hear from that fraud of a “doctor” again. Next time I will wait a month in debilitating pain then ever see someone like her again. If I ever return to this urgent care and she is the doctor that walks in I will immediately request someone else. If I could give her negative stars I would. Absolutely the worst “doctor” I have ever had the displeasure to deal with!
