Stopped here to charge my electric vehicle by FLO and it was a seamless and fast transaction. When I got there, there was An electric GMC Hummer charging. The GM Ryan came out to tell me he would move it so I could charge my truck. We got to talking and he threw me the keys and Man what a beautiful truck. Ryan and his team seem like a top notch outfit and super friendly. They may just have won over a new customer.

This used to be a great dealership when it was Bancroft motors, but since it was bought by Boyer, it has gone downhill. I've had numerous problems with them over the last few years. I've purchased 2 new trucks and a car from them in the past but won't ever deal with them again after my last experience there. In early Nov I went there to deal with a warranty issue, with condensation in one headlamp assembly, caused by cracks in the plastic from fasteners. The service advisor Tom told me they don't usually cover that under warranty due to stone chips. He inspected the lamps, and took numerous pictures to submit to GM, but said he had to get approval from the service manager, who was away for the week. I was assured he would pass along the info and get back to me. After hearing nothing by the first week of Dec, I called and spoke to the service manager Eric. He knew nothing about the issue. I arranged to take the vehicle in again for him to see the next day. When i arrived, he was on his way out the door, and I just managed to catch him. I asked why he was not given the info about my car, and he said the service advisor must have forgot, and laughed. He looked at the headlamps, and gave me a bunch of nonsense about how they wont cover it, but had Tom take more pictures to submit to GM again. Same runaround, checking for chips, etc. I was told the app submission sometimes took up to a week to get approval. So, I waited a week and heard nothing. I called to see what was up. Neither Tom or Eric were available, so I left a message. Next day, still no call back. So, I decided to try Curry motors in Haliburton, another dealership nearby. The service manager Chris looked at the headlamps, took photos, and submitted them on the app. Within minutes he had approval for the repair. He checked the availability of the parts and we made an appointment for the following week, and the repairs were taken care of under warranty. I don't know why this couldn't happen at Boyer, where I bought the vehicle new. Seems like they have zero interest in warranty repairs. This is also not the first time I've had this issue with problems like this. Obviously I will be purchasing my vehicles and service elsewhere, where they actually care about my business.

While on vacation in the area my truck was having weird brake issues. Went to talk to Eric and within 1 minute he had it diagnosed. Got an appointment within a couple days and truck was fixed. Great fast service. Friendly staff. Extremely happy customer!

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING A USED VEHICLE HERE!

My co-worker did and regrets it fully.

I was in the car business for 30 years and have never seen a franchise dealer operate this way with such poor management and customer service.

They do not safety inspect their vehicles to specifications.
Only put 100 kms ON the vehicle which up here is basically driving it home. All lights on dash came on. Brakes pulsate badly. Needs Wheel Bearing! Exhaust leak they said they fixed came back. When he called to ask them to look look at van he was stalled for 3 weeks being told the manager would call him. Never did! Then he disappeared on the deer hunt and no one else could help him.
When manager returned and he went in, he was asked if he bought the extended warranty!! Then the manager said he wasn't prepared to fix anything at all.
Told him he could buy his own parts was his solution. Lets not forget the 3 week delay in getting the vehicle ready for him. Only after the 4th delay offered a loaner vehicle.

When he was buying the vehicle they were very adamant about not letting him have his mechanic inspect it before he purchased it.
I was with him during all of this.

I recommended to him today to call the owner. Call the MTO to have the vehicle inspected and also file a complaint with omvic.

If this dealer was in a bigger area with competition they'd be out of business

I will add even their bill of sales are very suspect and made to confuse the purchaser which I would bet do not fall within Omvic guidelines.

Beware of this place Very unprofessional and horrendous service after purchase.

i bought a buick encore from boyer chevy in bancroft ont, said they replaced rear and front rotors and pads, only to find out the front rotors were resurfaced and not new, customer service where not helpful at all, ending up costing me a lot to repair. not happy.

Amazing dealership, amazing experience buying our new to us truck. Ryan Harvey was great to deal with, communicated with us with urgency & worked out a deal within an hour. (Everything over the phone as we are in Niagara). Casey (Finance) is awesome, financing was smooth & quick, she was fun to work with. Met Ryan (Manager) when we picked up the truck - so professional. We absolutely love our new truck - she's a beauty! Truck was full of gas on pick up & Mike even got a new GM hat. The best experience we've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I will be doing the 4 hour drive to purchase my next vehicle at Boyer's. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were mired in negative equity and wanted to trade in. Ryan and the staff worked magic to get us into 2 new vehicles with lower overall payments. Other dealerships either didn't want to talk to us or wanted us to provide a massive down payment to cover the negative equity. And this was just part of the great experience and the awesome way we were treated at Boyer's in Bancroft.
