Alright, these folks are super compassionate. Very busy, but you don't feel like a number when the Dr comes in to give you his full attention. Very professional. Front reception staff is very efficient and friendly. My advice is not to arrive less than 15 minutes of closing as it isn't fair on the staff. I did arrive and went in about 5 minutes to closing, but there was no sign on the door, and I entered as someone was exiting. Still, they had compassion and didn't make me feel like I was intruding. Saying that the experience was great and this is definitely the best walk-in I've been to. The waiting room was relatively small, but the wait wasn't terrible. Pictured here is Zalan. My daughter tonsils were very inflamed. I was visiting family and needed a walk in. It was very comforting to been seen in under 20 minutes. For the extra questions and taking out a stethoscope(mind blowing) I live clos to Toronto that doesn't happen. It's might be a small thing, but actually looking at your patient and in the few minutes does the world of good. And to have the labs next door and a pharmacy, double plus. Then the doctor calls you the next day with results from the lab. I was truly shocked with the health care in Bracebridge, it's what everyone needs. And my daughter is doing great.

A couple of months ago, my husband and I had an extremely unprofessional and upsetting experience with a doctor in Bracebridge medical centre…….My husband, who is First Nations, went in to discuss paperwork needed to reinstate his driver’s license, but instead of receiving help or respect, he was met with condescension and outright hostility.

The doctor disrespected him, refused to provide proper assistance, and even ran after us, yelling as we were leaving….. acted a bit racist if you ask me …..

This happened while I was enduring a severe illness, making the situation even more stressful and disheartening.

No patient or their family member should ever experience such behaviour, especially from a medical professional who is supposed to uphold respect and compassion for all individuals.

We have video evidence of the incident and have not shared it publicly yet, but we are planning to escalate this matter to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

A doctor should never treat anyone this way, and we are determined to ensure that this behaviour is held accountable. This experience has left us shaken and deeply disappointed months later, and I would urge others to consider this before seeking care from this individual.

Care was quick and kind. I lined up at 8:15 and was out by 9am! Doctor was friendly and easy going. I needed a requisition for blood work and a refill on a prescription in the meantime. Hassel free and easy!

Drove here from Huntsville for an emergency appointment, was in and out within 20 minutes and got good care from the doctor. Very well run and friendly practice.

Do not take your kids to see Dr Bawa. First impression was listening him ask a grown man his weight in the middle of the waiting room (Absolutely inappropriate). My son is sick and has been for 2 weeks and he told us just wait another week. You can find a better medical info using Google search at this point.

Dr. Bawa is totally unprofessional and rude.
He talks loud for everyone to hear your business. Dismissive, judgmental.
He referred to me as Anxiety girl out loud for everyone to hear. I’m a 49 year old woman, not a girl. I’m having severe difficulty walking and falling frequently and getting hurt. He said he couldn’t help me because he doesn’t have a history with me. We ll like many other Canadians - I don’t have a family doctor. So where do you get help and get support
And he sent me on a wild goose chase, that turned into a 7 hour day.
They move you through quickly, but with no compassion or help. Complete waste of time. Try something else first.
One of the worst doctors I have ever met.

I went to the clinic yesterday, Very fast service and really friendly. The Doctor knew what was wrong with me and gave me a prescription. Thank goodness for this clinic. If they were not here I would have had to spend 6 hours at the hospital.
