I just want to share my poor experience that haunts me to this day. I had my genetic testing ultrasound scheduled here back in November.
My first pregnancy and they booked me at 14 weeks, I wasn't aware of how time sensitive this testing was. I regret not counting the weeks from my dating ultrasound to make sure it was in the correct timeframe. I just assumed reception booked it correctly from the forms given.
I wish I'd realized because I would have called and changed it.
When I got to the room all the tech said was "I'm sorry it's too late I can't do anything." No context given. She was in and out of the room many times and I'm left wondering if the baby is okay or even what's happening.

Fast forward to now. I have a high risk pregnancy and doing all kinds of tests at mcmaster. Honestly had I known sooner maybe we could've came to a better understanding in a better time frame? I'm in my third trimester now and still wondering if my baby has some kind of genetic condition as we're waiting on results.

Pregnancy Anatomy Scan - KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!!

I’m writing this message for the manager at the radiology group who makes decisions on the policies you have in place. Today I visited your location at St Paul Ave. I was very excited to get my anatomy scan for my pregnancy. I spoke with other friends and members of the community as we planed to do a gender reveal with our family this weekend. I was told that the techs will tell you the gender at the scan and you can request that they write the gender on a piece of paper and put in an envelope so the surprise can be kept. This is very common. To my surprise as soon as I pulled out the envelope my tech said that she “was not allowed to write the gender on a piece of paper”. Apparently you have a policy to only tell verbally or results will go to the family Dr. I’m sorry, but who in their right mind decided this was a thing?! What is the difference between a tech telling me verbally, or writing that answer down on a piece of paper!! I immediately burst into tears, my family was getting together this weekend for the surprise and nothing could be done. The tech offered for me to speak to the manager, and they refused to speak to me. I was crying my whole hour appointment...

This rule makes no sense at all, and not only does it make for a very emotional and stressful situation for your pregnant clients, but it also puts your staff in very uncomfortable situations as well. At the very LEAST if you are going to have these rules you should have your techs inform your clients of this policy when you book your appointments, or at the appointment reminder call. Your radiology group is the standard go to in Brantford for care, yet you have horrible reviews online (believe me I will be adding mine) You should do better, make the experience for your patients and staff better! Thanks for ruining my week and my first pregnancy experience.

So if you are going here for your pregnancy scans, be aware and take someone with you who they can tell that won't ruin the surprise or be prepared to wait a week for the info to get to your family Dr.

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday at my 20 week anatomy scan. The ultrasound tech Sazria who conducted my ultrasound was awesome! She made the process so much more comfortable, she was very personable and made the over an hour visit fly by.

I have visited all 3 Brantford locations for various scans over time, and have always had great experiences with all of them.

Went in for walk-in X-ray just before they open. Both receptionist and X-Ray Tech Lynda are awesome. They are welcoming, communicative and efficient. Wonderful experience!

Nice staff + short wait. front desk staff and the x-ray technician are efficient. Was in and out in 20 minutes yesterday. Called today about my results, spoke to Sandra who was extremely kind and helpful.

Policy changed as of November 19 2024 no one told the customers that gender reveals are no longer a thing.
The technicians can no longer write on a piece of paper. This is horribly unprofessional. The manager is impossible to get a hold of emails, calls to the store. This location should not be operational as what other policies did you change that are no longer standard? As a healthcare professional myself I will be reporting this business. Others need to be aware and go to a different location and I hope the management gets some up to date training as his absence after changing policy is unacceptable

Useless location, please defund the imaging practice. I’m not sure how 3 different imaging “technicians” can say they observe something, when practicing doctors cannot due to their imaging.
Reception is also a joke, watch one receptionist point the wrong way was the hospital, and could not tell you the address of the practice, or the hospital, or the name of the hospital.

administration issues.
Received a voicemail at 6:03pm threatening me that if I didn’t call by 5pm to confirm my appointment for next day, that my appointment would be cancelled and it would cost me $90 to rebook. What? You pay the $90 because obviously you didn’t do your job and call at an appropriate time. How angering a) to receive a message like this b)to not have been told about this policy and c)to be called an hour after this apparent deadline passed.
Get your act together, be professional, learn some phone etiquette! P.S- always repeat the phone number slowly!
