I attended at Brockville General for the first time to pick up a relative who had just had day surgery. It was quite late so there were no information staff around to ask for directions. A nurse was leaving work after her shift and I asked her where I could find the day surgery unit ( after looking around for signage to no avail) She was extremely helpful and even found a phone to call up to the unit and find my patient as well as his status. She then provided directions as to where to go and wait. Above and beyond service AFTER a full day of work. Thank you nurse Ball! You made my day.

I have been to BGH many, many times and have found ALL of the employees to be highly professional, dedicated and thoughtful without exception. However the genius who came up with the idea of restricting the nearest visitor parking lot to certain visitors needs to re-think his/her decision. That parking lot has very few users now and there has been an increase in the usage of the larger parking lot. Anyone with mobility issues now has to walk considerably further including those with walkers in the snow and slush of winter. I have never used the close parking lot so this isn't about me but I shake my head at the lack of common sense by the person that made this decision.

I gave birth here on the 10th of October and I had a very pleasant experience..
Maternity nurses were the best, super helpful, cheerful and patient!

Most everyone at BGH has been so amazingly friendly, professional, caring and accommodating. Only found reception check-in is rather cold, impersonal and sometimes a bit rude. However, when dealing with the techs in the imaging dept to the nurses, doctors and ER staff and the medical records department, we couldn't be happier with the impressive level of care and service. Thanks so much to you guys @ BGH.

My daughter got the surgery here, good experience, especially the receptionist at main entrance, the senior lady was kind and took us to the registration. Nurses were nice with patience.

My son waited nearly 14 hrs on Saturday January 25th. Went in after struggling with flu like symptoms at home for 6 days so he wouldn’t burden the system, but then had no choice but to go in. He had a fever of nearly 38 at check in, was told on a couple of occasions that he was next, 14 hrs later after people yelling and getting pushed ahead of him he was finally seen. Absolutely horrible and disgraceful!
