I had an absolutely horrible experience at this bulk barn location. My family and I were followed around the store as though we were criminals, which was extremely unsettling and disrespectful. To make matters worse, when my 11-year-old son sampled a small piece of candy, one of the employees publicly humiliated him by pointing him out and making a scene in front of everyone.

This kind of treatment—targeting and embarrassing a child—is completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, respect, and basic decency from the staff was appalling. My children and I left feeling humiliated, upset, and unwelcome.

I will never shop here again, and I urge others to think twice before supporting a store that allows such behavior from its employees.

Went to the Okotocs AB store on April 17, 2024 to purchase several items. While placing steel cutoatsi
Into the bag, using the scoop, I was approached by the manager. She informed me ,I could not leave the scoop in the bin. At this point I was finished filling my plastic bag. The manager pointed to the bin next to me and informed me ,not to leave the scoop in the bin. Someone had left that scoop in the bin. I told her that was not what I was purchasing. She completely ignore me, as I showed her my product. She refused to listen to me and kept pointing at the scoop in the next bin, and proceeded to lecture me on not leaving the scoop in the bin. Now I am passed!!! I am 76 years old, and have never been berated in such a manner in my entire life. The rest of my many purchases are likely still sitting on the floor, where I dropped them. I will never visit a bill barn location again. FYI don't mess with old people.

I attended the bulk barn location on Mapleview dr in Barrie Ontario on November 1st 2023 I took my time and picked out almost $500 worth of product I had the online coupons one for five dollars and one for three dollars. The cashier advised me I could only use one coupon per customer . I was in the store with another person, but they were still picking up supplies so they did not see them. I ask the cashier if I had to do a second transaction to redeem my second coupon she advised me I was not able to do this and called out a manager by the name of Austin. he proceeded to tell me I could not do this I said to him I have a second person to purchase the additional supplies to redeem the three dollar off coupon and process the second transaction . then he changed his tune and advised me I could not use the same bank card in my second transaction, which is not stated anywhere on the coupon and I have never heard that before. I really could not believe that. A manager in a store would argue with a customer that was trying to check out with almost $500 worth of merchandise. over a valid three dollar coupon ? it's not about the money it's about the principal and the customer service normally I would walk away and leave the merchandise behind, but I didn't want to cause a scene and I needed the supplies. This manager was rude. And unhelpful it wasn't the cashiers fault. I am very disappointed and disgusted by the customer service I received. I do not recommend going to this location.

Having reported finding a huge chunk of metal in the candied ginger and subsequently having the displeasure of dealing with a rude spokesperson from Bulk Barn Customer Service who wanted only to get the metal, did not remove the product for safety, and took the tack that she was "helping" me! I only buy ginger ever so the lies are going to be exposed and I expect said rudeness is cost to cost this company dearly when all is said and done. Bulk Barn needs to hire a more professional staff to actually deal with things or pay the consequences! God only knows how much metal is still in this candied ginger product but clearly they could care less! I have the receipt, I have the metal, and I have no respect for the handling of this by your staff.

I'm a regular bulk barn customer today I went to buy
some ground flex seed.
And saw hemp seeds for very low price I thought let's buy some to see, got about 100gram since price was low I decided to smell it for sure it smells like a old oil so I decided to take some out of my bag to smell again
The girl at the corner give me a dirty look and said it to me "stop touching the product before you pay it".i said to her I'm touching it from my own bag.
She said i can't even touch from my own bag either.
I asked her to show me the sign saying that.
She took me to the sign it says do not put your hand in the bin use scope.
I said to her this is not it says .
She got upset and said get out of the store or else she will call the supervisor. I ignored her and keep shopping she followed me with a young man
The young man was telling me I can not put my hand in the bin .I explained to him I did not . I only put my hand in my own bag and try to smell just to make sure I'm not buying gone bad product.
Because price was low.
The young man said he is the store manager .
The hemp seed just came
They are not aware of the product is bad.
He decided to take it back from display
And made everything smooth.
I was very upset by that girl behavior and she claimed herself to be a manager.
She has no quality and qualification to be a store manager she doesn't know how to deal with a customer after creating a conflict .
She lied to the store manager that I put my hand in the bin.
Her name was Nyla working at bloor and runnymade.
People like that cause demage to brand .
I would not hire poor skilled people to work at my store.

In the past I have enjoyed shopping in your stores. I feel you have great products for good value. On a recent visit to your Brantford location I ended up in line behind a customer with a large amount of items. Either the cashier was new or the items were very uncommon because the cashier was taking a long time looking up every item. Since there was an employee standing right there stocking I asked her to open. She told me they don't usually open when there is only one customer in line. So I asked "So you are not going to open" which at this point she decided to open. When checking me through she commented "so I guess you aren't used to waiting" which I think is extremely poor customer service and the sign of staff with a bad attitude. So because of this in the future I think I'll have a lot of fun posting online for the world to see your customer service in action with my buttonhole camera. I wonder how many videos it will take before it starts to affect your business.

I purchased nutritional yeast at the Fredericton bulk barn. I had noticed some brown flecks in it and asked the cashier about it. He told me the last three shipments were like that. They sent one back but it just keeps coming like that. He also added they emailed the supplier and if I wanted to know what they said, I should ask next time I am in. I bought the yeast but wish I hadn't. I shifted it when I got home and it is full of some sort of particle. I wish I could upload photos to show you all. I threw in in the garbage. I am not impressed with the response I got to asking about it, and even less impressed about how bad it actually was once I got it all separated.

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the service of the Glendale Ave. St. Catharines location. On Aug 16 between 1pm and 2pm. I walked up to an older woman who was counting a display with 5 (maybe 6) packages in it. I said can you tell me where the oak flour is? Quickly without turning around she flew her finger in the air pointing straight up and restarted counting the half dozen packages. She finally turned around and said ‘we are doing inventory and you know how irritating it is to be interrupted when doing inventory right.’ I mumbled something about ‘except for when it is a customer right?’ But she just proceeded to mention it again 2 more times and to inform me all the girls were doing inventory...

I don’t believe I have ever been treated so crude and rude by a store associate.

I would like a response please.
