Kayle always offers a personalized and thorough treatment and aftercare plan. She takes the time at every appointment to check in with her client, suggest a treatment plan with explanation and checks in throughout the treatment to ensure that you're comfortable. I was suffering from what's called "frozen shoulder" for almost 4 years, and had been treated by different physiotherapists to no avail when I moved to Antigonish and happened upon Kayle Regnier from Butterfly Massage. I went for the first time only because my workplace benefits included therapeutic massage and I wanted to try massage to help me relax from stress. But what happened instead was that my frozen shoulder was unexpectedly also cured, in only two sessions! Kayle began the first session by asking a lot of questions about how different parts of my body were feeling, or else I wouldn't have even told her about the frozen shoulder. Because of her wealth of scientific expertise about the body's muscular structure and various systems, and her knowledge of what questions to ask in order to find out more about each person's repetitive movements, problem points, areas of tension, imbalances, etc, Kayle not only fixed my shoulder, but has since found out about (and helped me improve) all kinds of additional issues with my back, neck, and shoulders. For example, in one session where I was there for a shoulder issue, she was asking how the past few weeks were for my body and I casually mentioned how much my hip had hurt on a recent long hike. She took the time to ask various questions and get me to try certain postures and determined why this might have happened. She gave me specific easy exercises at home to help correct the problem (as she always does), and she always provides the scientific and medical explanations if a person is interested. I really can't recommend her highly enough for her well-rounded, caring, highly professional, empowering, relaxing, and educational way of working. She also creates a welcoming and inclusive space, for example, by carefully explaining what will take place at each session and confirming whether it meets the client's preferences and expectations, and checking in throughout the treatment to make sure things are going well. I am so thankful I found Kayle, and I love her massage therapy style.

I would like to make a compliment to the massage therapist Kayle Regnier. There are some problems with my shoulders and neck like stiffness due to the work posture and I have to visit massage therapists periodically. I should say that Kayle is amazing. I highly recommend Kayle’s massage therapy! She comes into your home! What an advantage to those of us struggling to find time to get up and out and back home after a relaxing /therapeutic massage! I usually head for a soak or just relax with my heating pad! Not to mention she is amazing at what she does! She has found muscles in me I didn’t know I had ! Hands down (pardon the pun) she is the best!
