I came in with a positive test result and just needed treatment. Arrived at 10am and waited 3 hours to be seen. I was seen by the triage nurse after waiting 1 hour and then another 2 hours to be admitted. I saw lots of people come after me and been seen before me. I already have a positive test result so I would have thought that would be more urgent.

Waited for four hours on Saturday, couldn’t even urinate because you can’t urinate 2 hours before your test, but without knowing when my name would get called… I held it in for longer than I should have.

The idea is to get to the place early . They open 8:45, so aim for. 8:15.

That said , I met Nurse Erin and she was super amazing and friendly . I felt very comfortable and respected , and she offered amazing care. I highly recommend the clinic and Nurse Erin

Go in early and STOP complaining about the wait time. More people getting tested is what causes a longer wait time. That. Is. A. GOOD. Thing. Be happy to wait, it makes us all a bit safer if more Calgarians are getting tested.

Arrived at noon wait time said 2 hours 36 minutes. At 2:50 I asked front staff where on the list I was, bc I had to leave at 3 pm to pick up my child from school they said I had two people infront of me. Some lady offered me to go infront of her. Then at 3 pm I go and ask again they said I would be next up and instead someone comes out that moment and calls the lady up that said I could take her spot the nurse glared at me and said NO. YOU WAITED LONGER YOU CSN COME NOT HER” and refused to let the nice lady have me go infront! I had to leave to get my child after waiting over 3 hours and then had to leave my friend there to Uber home after her tests!! And then she got texted the staff was rude and kept asking if she came with me etc… this place is terrible!! Terrible rude staff next time I’ll make sure to tell them I’m having a flair up of std symptoms maybe I’ll be seen faster!! This province is garbage o shouldn’t have to wait 3 hours for a 5 minute blood test and pee sample!! This is the reward people get for taking perfections measures!! No wonder Sti’s are running rampant no one wants to go sit and wait 3 hours to get tested!’ This is sickening and shame on these useless rude nurses!!

Nursing staff is great, but I have had to call at least 6 times to try to get my results. I had taken some medication at the time of my appointment and I wanted to follow up with them to see if that medication was needed or not. Still have not gotten any results back. Reception is dismissive and kept referring me to the nurses line. No one picked up at the other end every time that I called. It’s extremely frustrating and is driving my anxiety to the brink. I just want to know my results and no one has contacted me at the time they said they would. If a clinic tells you a timeframe in which they will call you, they should stick to that timeframe.

Staff is amazing! But horrible wait times, I waited 3.5 hrs to get a 3 min blood test. For city this size we need more STI clinics. This place definitely needs more funding!! It’s shameful ppl have to wait so long for a simple STI test.

I've been coming to this clinic for ages and every nurse here has treated me with respect and never once did I feel judged even though I know I'm in the wrong. They never talk down to me, made me feel unwelcome and it certainly feels like a safe space to get the screening or treatment I need. Just be honest with them and they will help you as much as they can. Places like this are very hard to come by and it's a very much needed public health service that deserves funding and support.
