One of the front desk receptionist was kind of non-chalant and for some reason was talking with a louder voice on the phone compared to in-person. Like when she called me into the room it was in such a low tone like she’s whispering, and she didn’t even say anything else like “follow me” or “in this room” but she was just quiet the whole time. When I came back out front afterwards, I was waiting to reschedule/ ask questions and she didn’t make eye contact but instead was looking on her computer and helped some other patient instead.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kavalinas for many years, I can’t even remember exactly how long it’s been (maybe 10 years?) and she is the best GP. She takes the time to listen and knows when to dig in a tactful way to ensure she’s doing all she can to support my well-being. I can understand some of the frustrations voiced in other reviews about reception staff over the years, but on the whole I’ve felt very well looked after by Dr. Kavalinas which is the most important thing to me.

Been with Dr Phillips since 05 or 06.
She is a fantastic Dr... very caring and prompt. The staff have always been very professional with me...
During covid there was never any pressure to get my shots... it was my decision. Highly recommend her...

I feel so fortunate to have come across this clinic and to have Dr. Dantzig as my family doctor. By far, he is the best doctor I have EVER had. He is extremely patient, very thorough and is an empathetic soul. The staff here have always been kind and accommodating.

Dr Sy Lam is an amazing doctor, however other staff who work here are completely incompetent. Tried to call and book appointments multiple times for heart problems post being in the hospital and I was told I was not allowed to book an appointment because I hadn’t been there recently due to me moving to another town for two years and not being able to drive back and fourth to see him as a family doctor. Moved back to Calgary and severely needed to see my original family doctor Dr Sy Lam and was told I was not allowed to switch back. Worst staff members experience ever !!

The doctors in this clinic are nice and professional. But the receptionist is pretty rude and not professional. My wife had made an appointment for yesterday a week ago. And all the sudden yesterday we receive couple messages from the receptionist, the messages said she needed to leave at 4, so she wanted us to move her appointments 30 minutes early. Her appointment is 2:45pm before, and she wanted her to come at 2:15.
In the message she wanted her to call back to confirm that. And she did call back, but no one pick up the phone. At 12:30 they called me again and left the message, so I called back and the answer machine saying they are in lunch (12:00 to 13:15). Around 1:30 the receptionist called again, finally this time we didn’t miss the call, and she wanted her to be in the clinic at 2 not 2:15, if she was late, it would consider her missing appointment. We are living in Airdrie, so we rush ourselves and speeding to arrive the clinic. We found out the receptionist wanted to leave early, so that’s why she wanted to change the patient appointment. Very unprofessional. She also pretty rude to my wife and my mother in law!

Vanda Phillips is an amazing doctor. I have been going to her for seven years now and am always happy with my appt. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Vanda Phillips and her staff.
