Most of my family joined Dr James practice when theirs retired at 1st this practice it was amazing . You can see the lack of caring over the years . If you get an appointment now expect to wait 45-60 minutes to actually see him . Then be kicked out on 5 minutes even if your not done .

He doesn't follow up on anything which is really discouraging after having to lose time at school or work to make it to a specialist being told they are sending him their findings and suggestions and expect a medication or referral for something else ( gives you hope something may actually get relief or answers ) to never hear about it again , Everytime we have tried to follow up we get some mumbly excuse and I'll look later then never actually follows up .

So I have a team of drs looking after my needs. Dr cumberbatch refused to even discuss anything with my team. Having his own opinion on what meds I should or should not be taking. After bed ng on meds that have worked for me for years he refuses to prescribe. So I had to seek a new dr that would have my interest first and his opinion or ego last. Now they want a 90 dollar fee to transfer files to new dr. My dr retired just over a year ago after 40 years of being with him. Sadly. It’s been an awful year with not feeling looked after at all!!!

Dr James okonji receptionist never picks phone. I walked in for my child’s vaccination appointment after getting no response on phone and I was denied an appointment. Very poor administration . Also, they never called back for follow up . You never know if your reports are back in the office or not ! These are the few flaws that needs to be taken care of. Disappointed as we moved here from Milton I never had this problem in Milton clinic .

This review will be at a 1 star until this practice decides to pick up the phone. I've been calling every day during work hours for the past week and either the phone goes immediately to voice mail, or it rings and no one answers. We registered to be new patients at this clinic a few weeks ago and still haven't heard back. Unsure if we want to proceed with a clinic that has such poor communication to be honest.

Dr James is my GP. When he doesn't have health expertise about a certain something, he should be referring his patients to some specialist, but either he's too lazy to do the referral or I think he has little external contacts for referrals. You see I had to do a self-referral. That's problem #1. Problem #2, there's issues with him receiving patient paperwork (in my case, a written report was sent to him informing him of my psychiatrist's assessment findings and recommendations), he just sits there all lackadaisically, says either he'll check later/next time or he'll get his receptionist to; I have here people telling me they sent him stuff, get GP & co tell me otherwise, so seems they have issues receiving stuff /mis-set-up of that. Problem #3 with him is he always in about 5 minutes leads you out the door; with me often to the receptionist and tells her to look into matter -- just his whole 5 minutes and out the door plus hands-off /lackadaisical approach is so off-putting to me. But so last time gets to the receptionist and receptionist says will look into things, not able to pull anything up she says she will follow-up with me, that didn't happen, which is my problem #4 because my emails to them going unanswered. As so is the case, looking like I'll be going to a walk-in clinic for time being till I find a new better more caring doctor.

Dr. James is miraculous. Two days back I went with a serious problem. He tested personally and gave prescription. I came out of my problem on the first day itself. I am grateful to Dr. James.
The clinic has a very good Receptionist who attends all calls fast and efficient.

I am so disappointed with this clinic. The lack of not only hygine, but care that they expell is sickening. The doctor hadn't changed the protective sheet on the exam table in who knows how many patients. My poor baby had his shots here by the nurse who carelessly jammed the needles into his leg. They explain nothing and I would never trust this clinic. Go anywhere else.
