I attended the CD Program in 2010 and the Family program in 2011. I am grateful for my experience there! I found you get what you're willing to put into the program. The staff were very helpful and caring and because they are human not perfect. I'm happy to say I have been clean and sober for 15 years now and it's because of a good
start at the Camillus center and a continuous practice of the 12 step program of recovery

The Camillus Center opened its doors in 1984 and has over 36 years’ experience in helping people and families recover from addiction.

People, places and things. There’s a place in Eliot Lake where The Soul is mean to heal. Where you can reborn just need to open your heart by quieting your main the soul will speak.

The programs offered by this center are incredible, this center, the program and each of the incredible people who work here are making the word better just by doing what they love to do.

The workers in this center are the more noble and kindness people I have ever meet on my life, they safe lives every day , I had the privilege to be one of them.

This place killed my best friend he had been sober for 3 months. they were changing up his medications.i know in my heart he didn't wake up because of their negligence this place is terrible and he fought to go here. He had worked so hard the system is broken

I attended the Family Program in the summer of 2018.
I knew nothing about Codependency and had never participated in a 12-step program before.

It was hard work and very uncomfortable in the beginning but it began my healing journey to better understand myself and to do the inner work required.

The one thing that I'm hoping has improved is the nutritional content of the food they provide.
The class on nutrition and proper eating was very outdated as they presented the information from a very old VHS tape recording.

I will be forever grateful to the gentleman who ran the Family Program who has since retired.
God bless you for doing your own incredible inner work so you could take the hands of so many who needed your wisdom and help.

I pray that others will find their way there and learn how to rise up out of the ashes to live out their purpose here on earth. 🙏

Terrible establishment counselors at very unprofessional and will dismiss clients for stupid reasons or without facts ot any form of a warning if said accusations are true. They take clients words for things without investigating. Once a accusation is made they immediately dismiss clients. I do not recommend any person trying to better their life use this place. As a past client I have first had experience.

Most awful rehab in the world. Absolutely devastating that my mother trusted this “rehab” to help her get clean. Instead she goes missing and they don’t notify family until 3-4 days later. Absolutely disgusting. I called atleast 7 times for a week, and they refused to answer my calls. Honestly all the people that work here and claim they are helping others, can rot. Just like my mom’s body is doing right now. Thank you SO much by the way. Terrible people terrible place. Don’t ever go here for help. Xoxox

Attended the rehab program at Camillus in 2012. It is structured to ensure success. This is not a resort environment. While in treatment at the Oaks Center they provide you with the knowledge and the skills to follow to put you on the path to recovery while in your treatment and post treatment. Truly changed my life.
