I have never written a review before, but this has to have been the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Zero empathy or attempt to even discuss a diagnostic or treatment plan. He didn’t listen to any of my medical history or past surgical experience with my knee. After he was running almost 40 minutes late, the appointment I have waited years for (between doctor’s appointments, x-rays and MRIs), was over in 7 minutes. My previous surgeon had told me that I had torn my meniscus following a previous ACL surgery and that it would likely require surgery if it ever caused problems in the future - it is now causing problems. Rather than attempt to figure out the problem and a plan for treatment Dr. Miller was extremely quick to tell a 30 year old that they need to rethink their career and way of life because her knee was broken and she was not “normal” anymore. I just need to “work-out”, and not squat or kneel ever again? Not once did he ever ask how active of a lifestyle I already live. I left in tears, feeling broken and defeated. I was only offered a scope after breaking down in the exam room. I will never be returning to see this doctor and will be seeking a second opinion.

My right shoulder was busted in Feb 2023 in an slip and fall incident. My pain was overwhelming affecting my sleep daily. Dr Miller was one of the three orthopaedic surgeons I visited and he was the best in explaining things to me. With his advice, I flew abroad to have my shoulder taken care of. The operation was a success. After returning to Calgary, Dr Miller continues to follow up with me on recovery progress. I am grateful to have met him and got his guidance. I cannot recommend enough of Canadian Medical Solutions.

I suggest skipping this office and going to any other clinic, I am now at The knee Clinic and never been happier!
I was referred by my GP to get an updated knee brace. I saw David the physiotherapist, after meeting with David for 10 mins he sent me off to do some exercises and said I needed to meet with Dr Miller. David said that he would email all the , to this date I haven’t received the email with the exercises or an appointment with Dr Miller. I was told that Dr Miller was only taking cancellation appointments, when I did try to book one I was told he wasn’t taking appointments until January 2024.
So after $120 for nothing I looked elsewhere.

Great experience with Canadian Medical solutions. After waiting over a year and a half for a consult with the hip and knee clinic it was suggested I try CMS. I was able to get in to see Dr. Stephen Miller in under a month. The staff at CMS were all very friendly and helpful in getting me in as soon as they could. Dr. Stephen Miller was excellent in taking his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. He was very easy to talk too, knowledgeable and took the time to listen to me which I really appreciated. I was also able to get in to see Dr. Dan Miller for a weight loss and nutritional consult the same day! Having a knee injury it's been hard to lose the weight I would like. He was very understanding of my limitations and was able to set me up with a weight loss program that is really easy to follow. He was very warm and welcoming and you can tell he really cares about his patients and their goals. The overall experience was awesome!

I’ve been very pleased with the professionalism, expertise, and warmth of the practitioners as well as the admin staff of Canadian Medical Solutions. I received a custom brace for one knee as well as injections for both which has notably decreased my discomfort and improved my mobility and therefore my mood. I am able to move faster on the tennis court and without tiring and feeling leg heaviness.

I totally recommend CMS. I’m stubborn and neglect my body and my recent hip/TFL injury has prompted me to seek professional help. Dr.Stephen Miller is a wonderful doctor and his bed side manner is awesome. I am excited for my recovery and can’t wait to be at 100% again with the help of his team!
I also met with Dr. Dan Miller for some guidance and help with weight loss / nutritional counselling to drop the “quarantine 15” that I’ve acquired since I’ve been working from home and over indulging. He is very understanding down to earth and supportive. I am happy that I’ve found this place! Totally recommend!!

Very accommodating for physiotherapy appointments, and good to get an update on my OA from Dr Miller. Looking forward to getting a new one brace too. To have all this in one location with quick turnaround for appointments has made it a lot easier and all the staff have been very helpful.
