Update after 4.5 months post-installation

Product: 3M film for my windows

Primary purpose: to reduce frequency/severity of light-sensitive migraines.

Secondary purpose: electricity bill savings and temperature regulation. I have large windows which face south and west and I get sunlight all day. It makes my place very hot. I sometimes have to run the AC in the winter.

Outcome: The film is not too dark. The windows look normal. There isn't any bubbles or other defects in the film even when you look closely.

Initially, there was a big reduction in frequency/severity in migraines. Over time, this effect has lessened. Still, there has been a significant reduction. On bright days, I do still need to close the blinds, but I don't need to close the blackout curtains.

Energy consumption is lower than it was during the same time last year. I think the temperature is more consistent than it used to be, but I'll know for sure in the summer.

Service: It was a pleasure dealing with the staff at Carbon Graphics. They were all kind and professional and responded quickly to emails. Installation went well without any hiccups. The installer loved my cats and I wish I could give a bonus star for that 🙂

Working with Carbon Graphics makes my work life easier. The team is professional and supportive - especially when I'm putting together significant events.

I had one of their staff come for a site visit to go over installation details for some signage and a wall mural. He was amazing! Not only did he gather measurements and take photos of the work areas, but provided additional advice on my future projects based on his past experiences. At the end of his visit, he even took the time to walk over to a C-train platform with one of our senior members to show her the correct train she needed to take to get home. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Carbon Graphics staff, and I absolutely recommend them for anything from small print jobs to exterior signage.

This company was recommended by another company that we were dealing with so we approached Carbon Graphics to install window film on our large livingroom window to reduce the heat that was coming through them. Jack did a great job installing it as timely as weather permitting and we greatly appreciate the timely updates from Wendy when appointments had to be rescheduled due to unfavorable weather conditions. Great professional service from these employees.
