First time at this clinic and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. The clinic is well managed, exceptionally clean, and front of house staff are very pleasant and efficient. I'm still early in my treatment plan but have already noticed a big difference. The electrolysis technicians are very skilled and make you feel at ease. I had appointments with both Maya and Jane. Both are extremely friendly and wonderful to have treatments with. The only issue is trying to book appointments to fit my schedule. This is not a negative issue on the clinic, it's that they are very busy and time slots fill up quick. You have to pre-book online in advance and remain flexible with your schedule. So far it has worked out well for me.

I was surprised to see a difference after a couple of sessions, it has only gotten better with every appointment. Even though the hair has to be targeted a few times, it comes back so much thinner that it doesn't really bother me between appointments now and has made a big impact on my life.

Kathryn is so pleasant to see each time and she quickly puts you at ease. Additionally, the clinic maintains exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, feeling clean like a medical facility but with the atmosphere of a relaxing spa.

I had a very bad experience with Maya. I do not recommend going to her for electrolysis treatments. She was running late for my appointment and in turn rushed me and did not provide quality service. When I walked in the room the timer had already begun which resulted in me losing 2-3 minutes of treatment As long as the customer is on time they begin the timer once the customer is sitting in the chair and the electrologist is at the head of the table. Since you’re charged in increments of 15 minutes every minute of treatment matters. I was late during my initial appointment with Maya last week, she told me to come early for my next appointment and she would make up the 2 minutes in lost in my initial appointment, instead I lost even more time during this appointment. When I mentioned this to her she spoke very disrespectfully to me and said “whatever I don’t care.” I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional manner by a client service provider before. Electrolysis is a very intimate procideure, you are trusting the electrologist with a needle to your face, it’s a nerve racking experience and the last thing you want is to feel rushed or like your electrologist is does not care about clients concerns.

I will say I spoke to the owner, Kathryn and she was very receptive to my feedback and pleasant to speak with. I appreciated that she listened to my concerns and sounded very sincere in her apology regarding Mayas behavior. A good perk is that you are able to choose which electrologist to have your session with when booking appointments on the website. I’m going to continue sessions here as I try not to judge an entire business off of one member, needless to say I will not be booking with Maya again.

Today I had a consultation and treatment with Kathryn Hay at Caress. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was today. Kathryn was transparent and informative about what the treatment entailed and the cost. I did not feel like I was taken advantage of like some other places I’ve been to for cosmetic treatments. The office was clean, the staff (Eileen, receptionist and Kathryn) were all very friendly and skilled, and my privacy was respected. I will definitely be going back for future treatments. Highly recommend this business!

Being transgender, I had many worries and anxieties about having electrolysis done, and pain was one of my major concerns. However, my needs have been respected and I feel cared for while I am there. I intend on continuing my visits, and setting up appointments has been very convenient for me along the way.
