We ordered a 10' by 10' storage shed from Cedar Sheds Armstrong b.c. and It wasn't easy as your need to have knowledge of Carpentry or building things. We Obviously know it's a kit, but we found out you seriously need to really study the instructions very thoroughly, because we made a few mistakes and by then it was too late. One Question we had was, why is it the back wall is 116'' and the front wall is 115 1/2 '' ? , that was confusing. The width is 10' and the length is 9'. 6''? We found that kinda Odd. You definitely need to make sure the foundation is level for foundation/ flooring, every Carpenter knows that and that's not easy either. It also does Not take only 3 days to assemble, like some people said in Reviews, Especially when it's just 2 rookies ( husband and wife ) team. We really liked the free delivery and when we finally finished, it's very impressive and solid. Some things I had to Modify and trim, cause they didn't fit, which was not a big deal, but still you really shouldn't have to do that. If someone asked us about Cedar Sheds, Our Opinion or recommendation would be, Yes. But we like it when the Company does a follow up, to see how things are and if we are pleased with the Shed. That's always a good thing, if your ever considering buying another or recommending them to others.

An excellent product. The instructions are thorough, if a little confusing in places, but by taking my time I was able to build a stunning looking shed. As described, you will need 2 people at times, but most of the construction is a one-person job. If you are going to place the shed close to a fence or wall, you will need to think about how to 'finish' on the side facing the fence or wall. Thankfully, I could temporarily take our fence down, so accessing the back of the shed was easy. This photo was snapped just before I fitted the cedar ridge tiles to finish the project. Now to build some shelves and workbench inside!

We bought a Bayside model cedar shed direct from CedarShed Canada (though CedarShed products are available from the big box stores, too). The order and shipping process was fast, the materials are excellent quality, and the fit and finish is top-notch.

Assembly went well, though the instructions could be better for a layperson. It would be great if every single part was labelled (not just some parts), so it was a bit difficult for a construction-challenged person like myself to figure out what a part was once we opened each materials bundle and scattered things around the job site. But that was as much an organization issue on our end. So consider this a gentle suggestion, not a complaint.

We highly recommend ordering the optional pre-shingled roof. It looks great and it makes roof installation super easy.

Finally -- and here's what separates okay service from incredible service -- there was in incorrect component included in our package (yes, it can happen to anyone) so we contacted the manufacturer and requested a replacement part. That replacement part arrived on our doorstep 48 hours later. No hassle, no fuss, no muss. Just excellent service.

The finished product looks great. In fact, calling it a mere shed is, frankly, an insult. It is rock solid and it will probably outlive us. Highly recommended.

The owners are very responsive and answer any questions. The gazebos are nicely designed and well built. I'd recommend purchasing any of their products without any concern about quality.

So funny how you can have exactly the opposite experience from someone else. Found customer service to be rude and incapable of answering simple questions. When you get that kind of attitude upfront I will not go any further. They were fine with that.
