I was very impressed by the service at Centrus. I was referred for an ECG and Holter Monitor by my neurologist. I also have PTSD, and the symptoms are often disruptive to my day to day life. Adnan and his trainee Fazila were helpful and so kind when I needed accommodations to attend my appointment.

At the beginning of the appointment, Adnan led me to the office, which is a small room. The moment he closed the door, I had a panic attack. I asked about female staff, and he said yes, but when I also asked him to please open the door, he recognized that it was an emergency and moved quickly.

I couldn't function with the door closed, so Adnan went to some trouble to prop it open while still protecting my privacy by making sure no one could see. Fazila placed the leads for the ECG on me under Adnan's instruction. Any time he had to touch me, he explained first what he was going to do. While Fazila was working Adnan asked me about work until he landed on a topic I'm passionate about, and we had a very engaging conversation. That proved to be a very effective distraction, and it was greatly appreciated. Lastly, Adnan provided clear instructions for using the Holter Monitor and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed or confused by the tech at all.

The staff at Centrus didn't just do their jobs well. Adnan and Fazila did their jobs well while coping with the medical emergency I was having. Thanks to them, I was able to complete the appointment and walk home instead of having to leave or having to go to the hospital. They are very empathetic, and I think they must have excellent training because Adnan handled my panic attack perfectly and Fazila is incredibly gentle. At my next appointment, I plan to thank Dr. Gupta for referring me to Centrus for these procedures.
