My mom moved into Westmount retirement home in September. In the beginning it was difficult for her and hard on us. It was a big adjustment for her. She had lived in her home for 67 years. The residents and the staff all did their best to make her feel welcomed. I have found the staff to all be amazing. There is always someone around if you need anything or having any questions. They are all so helpful. My mom has been very pleased with her unit, the food and all the staff that help her out. My mom has had some health issues and the nurse Toni and her staff have been a tremendous help. Any issues or concerns have been handled quickly. I can honestly say that moving my mom to the Westmount was the best thing we did. She is very happy there. We also are so pleased to know she is being taken care of so well.

I came with my "sis" Liz and her hubby David to have Mother's Day tea with Yvette Charette and her friends Rene & Lionel and it was amazing. Beautiful china tea cups and very good strawberry short cake, and we got carnations. A great time!

My Mom lives at Chartwell, and she is very happy there. They are attentive to her needs, accommodating, and truly care about the residents. They bring meals to her room when she is ill, and go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable.
I feel confident that she is looked after, and I don’t have to worry about her. If I ever have any questions or concerns, Jackie is always helpful and available. I highly recommend!

The experience from the very beginning has been so positive. My dad and I began the process of “just looking” at retirement residences probably about two months ago. We saw a virtual tour of one but really didn’t peak his interest, but after we saw the virtual tour of Westmount he said maybe this would be good. I asked Ashley if she could tentatively keep the suite as I knew my dad never makes any decision right away. Next day is told him what I did and he was happy about it. It moved fast from there!

It has been such a great experience! Ashley and I communicated by email a lot and she was always quick to respond and very positive and encouraging, answering our questions and ready to help in every way possible.

The moving day was great...staff were helpful in every way we needed. My dad is quite happy with his room and has often commented on how helpful and pleasant everyone is. He is looking forward to joining with everyone but is quite content to be in his room until then. We will be going for a walk soon. I feel very secure in knowing he is good hands.

Westmount on William has been a fantastic fit for my father. He moved in a few months ago and the staff and other residents have made him feel right at home. The size of room is perfect, meals are prepared 3 times a day and there is always staff on hand to support him as required 24/7. You can't beat the location either! Overall, the staff have gone above and beyond to make my father feel welcome and a contributing member of this great Retirement Residence!

My mother feels so well taken care of and safe at Westmount…and we couldn’t ask for anything more. She’s exposed to much more activity than she ever would have had at home.
