Its hard to get someone answer the phone. And if answered we have to be very very polite as the pre-recording says. Then we have to explain your health issues to the tel operator, I am wondering do the operator has right to ask our health issues? It is suppose to be explained confidentially to the doctor. Appointments are normally not available, nor they provide future appointments. After speaking with the tel operator we will be come more frustrated . So now I try not to call nor visit the doctor, try to treat myself with home remedy.

Horrible experience with doctor mcdowell, making up reasons for discharge when needed the most, during crucial care. Discharged for having health problem that was mentioned and never diagnosed. Secretary extremely rude and unprofessional. Takes things personally, in turn lies to the doctor to have you discharged when medical attentionis clearly needed. The secretaries up at the chatham kent family health team, not all, but most, are extremely rude, the worst attitudes and the least amount of proffesionalism. Have the day you deserve.

Dr Mehdi is absolutely useless. Every single time I have been in there with an issue for myself or my children, she has never once even given us a proper exam. She simply asks a couple of questions and fires off prescriptions. I have never had a doctor treats me the way that she has. She makes no effort with her patients what so ever. I have never spent more than 5 minutes inside of her office because she is always rushing me out and not allowing me to even fully explain the issue I came in with. Not to mention her receptionist is quite honestly the rudest person I have ever came into contact with. If you have Dr Mehdi, I would strongly recommend seeking out another doctor if you can.

Reception for Dr mehdi Office are very rude and nasty to talk with. They appear racist and bigoted towards people of colour they don’t seem to care about your health in any manner. Dr mehdi her self seems sub par in her practice her knowledge and confidence of medicine seems very limited which limits her ability as a physician. I highly recommend you find a different family doctor *THIS OFFICE DOSE NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING*

Receptionist for Dr Mehdi was very rude over the phone. My appointment was cancelled last minute last week and i was trying to inquire about future appointments. She snapped at me when I asked and said "I dont know i cant predict the future!" "Stuff gets cancelled I cant tell you it happens" I told her theres no reason to use a rude attitude on the phone. If someones having a bad day dont take it out on a patient inquiring about there familys well being. Her name was Shy. She should be spoken to, its unprofessional behaviour that reflects bad on the office.

Not a big fan of their online booking experience.
My requests were declined with no explanation as to why.

We currently cannot get a family Doctor due to the shortage and this didn't make it any easier.

Not sure where to turn to now....

Became a patient recently, 6 months ago or less. They messed up my birthday not once but twice. Getting any medication renewed requires either a doctor's visit or two weeks notification which I was NOT informed of. When the pharmacy sends in a request, they claim they didn't get it. My pharmacy sent in 4x a request for my one med I desperately need and still didn't get a response, call the office to see what is going on and only then I'm informed of the two weeks notice policy that should have been told to me on day 1. The "waiting room" is unpleasant, no decorations, chairs sparse because of COVID restrictions. Over all not a place I'd have chosen had I a choice.
