Counting skills are lacking, they like to skip over counts.
I recycle one bag on a weekly basis. My one bag of bottles is very regular on a weekly basis (I’ll have a similar quantity of milk jugs, glass bottles, cans etc.)
Every single I’ve come to this bottle depot, I take home no more $12 unless I’m engaged to actively count the bottles at the same time as the sorter lol.

These are observations across weekly visits, October 2023 -July 2024. Every single week I have taken my bag to East Hills, I get back $14-15, never below $14 even when at think my bag feels a bit lighter. I have noticed this regularly enough that I’d rather drive out to East Hills.

I go there regularly with many bags (typically 3-8) and the service is always quite good. Sometimes they are busy, sometimes not so much, but always friendly and hard working. The count always seems pretty reasonable, so I have no reason to pre-count what I bring in. That said, they are human beings, so I can’t expect perfection, just reasonable service.

Definately got ripped hard. The lady chucked literal handfuls of bottles into a bin as fast as she could. Plus the same bin and bottles 2 different counts were as difference of 25. There were a good amount of glass bottles left in the drop area, right after she threw the plastic bottles in and punched in the number she printed the ticket I ask d about the bottles left in the bin, said she already counted them, but didn't see it on the ticket either. Sketchy
