I recently had total knee replacement surgery at Clearpoint (Dec 13th). My experience was amazing. From the front desk to the final day out the door the entire staff made my stay so positive. Every member of the staff from pre op, recovery, post op and physio were top notch, kind, helpful. Many thanks to all.

Went for knee surgery and from the reception to the nurses(Lou Ann), doctors and surgeons(Dr Timmerman) I can't say enough about everyone ! Very informative, extremely positive, uplifting, and super friendly. Highly recommended!

The best facility to have your knee surgery done, from the process of registering, to call backs, follow ups. The pre-op and whole surgical team, Dr. Stewart and all the staff and facilities and the care I received, I could go on. Але платний паркінг зіпсував все враження... платний паркінг, щоб потрапити до лікаря по запису... Платний паркінг щоб просто перевірити свій стан....платний паркінг... це не велика сума...але чого я маю платити за паркінг біля лікарні У мене все....

I has surgery here to repair a pec tendon tear. My first surgery ever. All the staff was very supportive and helpful and kept me relaxed and comfortable the whole time.

I had a full hip replacement last week here. Outstanding staff and facility. They made me feel like I was spending a day or so at a luxury spa!!

Just a quick update ... after a month, walking and biking regularly. Lots of mobility I didn't have before surgery!

I am coming across some news stories lately about private vs public med services in Canada. Would be nice to have our political leaders look for solutions that better integrate private and public services together!

I will keep this factual. I saw 2 doctors at the Riley Park Location. The first was Dr. Schachar. She was rude to me, accused me of having a prior injury, personally did not examine me, and disputed findings reported by a radiologist. She then denied me an MRI arthrogram, that was recommended after the first MRI was abnormal (actually scoffed at me). I subsequently paid for my own MRI arthrogram, which showed a torn labrum/chondral fissuring, which she misdiagnosed. When I obtained her WCB notes, she said I was "catastrophizing", "emotionally labile", and my pain was out or proportion to my initial MRI Findings (This should have been a clue to dig deeper). She said I should see a counselor.

I paid for my own MRI to the tune of $980, because of her "expert opinion", WBC would not. Then I saw Dr. Stewart. He was dismissive (although not rude or condescending) and I would assume was trying to stay on the same page as his first colleague. He also misdiagnosed me with adhesive capsulitis (the MRI I paid for 2 weeks later specifically stated there was no evidence of this), and disregarded a request from a physiotherapist I had been working with 3x a week, for an MRI arthrogram.

He then recommended WCB cease paying for my physiotherapy. This has made things worse. What if I didn't have the gumption to fight for myself, or the money to pay for an MRI?
So much for their "Compassion" and "respect" values (as per their website)... maybe if you're rich, and not a WCB client!

I am now facing a claim denial by WCB, because their "Medical consultant" (who has never met me or examined me) is basing her recommendation on these 2 surgeons' notes. She specifically cited the part where Dr. Schachar called me "emotionally labile". I contacted Clearpoint health 2.5 weeks ago, who said they would look into this, and they have no emailed me back or updated me since, despite multiple emails..

Update: April 10, 2024-I was banned from this facility after this review. I then went on to have 2 shoulder surgeries in Edmonton. Apparently I wasn't a faker or a liar. 🙂
