I have to comment on one of the best customer service experiences I've had! I'm not a customer (electric heat) and I don't live on the Northside. Today, I needed to get a minimum oil delivery to a rental property in Sydney Mines and I called Cogan's (referred by a friend). They made me feel as important as a customer getting a full tank of oil and then some! I asked for a call so I could meet them at the property. A nice gentleman phoned me as he was nearing the address and I told him I was in Sydney. He was likely trying to keep to a busy schedule but he waited for me (fastest trip I've ever made from Sydney to Sydney Mines). He put the oil in, made sure the breaker was on (it wasn't) and checked the furnace and checked the thermostat. I can't say enough about how accommodating this man was. He even sprayed the sticky lock so I could get the key in! Almost makes me wish I had an oil furnace. Thank you to Cogan's and the very kind delivery guy!! 🙂

I dont normally give out 5 stars, but the customer service here deserves it. I have tried numerous other home heating providers and Cogans in North Sydney shines well above the rest. They are friendly, personable and willing to go the extra mile for you when needed.

Poor customer service to say the very least. Very rude. They made a mistake delivery to my house when it wasn't even my address or name on the slip. When I called, they tell me to just pay for it (Joe, ofcourse). Then proceed to hang up on me after I refused to pay for what I didn't order. Hence my reason for going to a better company. Great way to handle it guys.?

I bought heating oil from Cogan's since last year when I got my own place with a hot air furnace. I always ordered above the minimum delivery amounts and also always paid before I got the oil. Now, out of the blue, they will not sell me oil any more. They won't explain the reason for it either. I'm stuck in a cold house for a few days until someone else can deliver some. Please never order from these people, there's way better options close by.

I have lived here from Ontario for 9 yrs now.Started off with Cogan's,tried the few others,and went back to Cogan's. Services,customer services, drivers have always been great! Thank you Cogan's. 5 + from me 🙂

first time since i moved in this house i ordered oil to fill my tank and it was great they came and filled it 480 dollars then the second time i ordered it was on tuesday feb 26 they said fridaysat came no il i called they said the driver ran out of oil in kempt head he said they will be here first thing monday well monday came and left no oil they came wednesday march 6 and it was over 500 i dont mind paying that i need it but 8 days later no im sorry no nothing customer service is not great its horrible looks like i need a new oil company
