First time and last time here. He stands there watching me rip open 4 garbage bags full of bottles onto the counter. Walks away for 5 minutes comes back with a garbage bin tells me to put them in there after all the bottles are out on the table. Could have told me but instead just watching me dump it all on the table. I left without my bottles or my money.

You had best have your stuff sorted before you bring it here or you'll get an earful from the owner. Only made that mistake once.
They are quick and accurate. Never noted a count error but its pretty annoying hearing the (owner?) Yelling at staff and customers all the time.

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was busier than I expected. We brought in over 2000 empties and the gentleman who helped me was extremely nice and worked quickly. I think his name was Tariq! However, the owner (I'm assuming) was walking around with no mask and barking at this poor woman who did nothing wrong. He said she was leaving trash at the sink when she washed her hands - which was there before I even went in - and that she was leaving behind trash bags that were also there before her. I felt so bad for this woman. I heard him do it a few more times to some other people while I was going in and out to my truck.

A few years ago, I went in and I was the person getting shouted at by this awful owner. I don't like going in to the depot because of it. They encourage people to recycle, but then expect you to tolerate the abhorrent customer service.

They have a separate line for people who don't have bottles %100 sorted. I had a few cans that had slipped into the water bottles and they moved me to this other line and let 3 other people go in front of me. Apparently it's the owners rule. That is absolute garbage treatment of a customer. They were also extremely rude. Do better!

If I could leave zero starts I would. This is also the first review I have ever done. That should show how bad it is. First bottle depot I have ever been to that has nowhere for you to place your used garbage bags and wants you to take them with you. It is also the first bottle depot that I’ve been to that expects you to sort your own bottles and cans while there. If I was to do everything myself you might as well pay me for it. I’m also pretty sure these issues don’t even come close to the fact that I’ve been ripped off. If you can drive to Bonnyville or somewhere else just do it
