I made an attempt to go in tonight with some sort of eye infection (Wed Feb 26th) I went 45 mins before opening. There was at least 35 people waiting in the hall and a bunch waiting in thier cars. I went to grab a number ( would have been number 46) and over heard a women who was close to the front saying she got there at 3:15 (open only from 5-8)
Others told me they only can handle 20-25 visits MAX a night and offen is closed due to staffing or turn many away . This clinic needs to be more accessible. They need to do more for our community … we all don’t need emerg . I’m greatful to have a doctor but of course they don’t have same day appointments and book out WEEKS in advance. This isn’t accessible at all. I’d have to call into work, lose hours of work to line up and hope to be seen by being there hours in advance !!! While in a huge line of other sick people.
I hope not to not get worst and have to go to emerge for somthing I know a quick visit with at the clinic could fix but can’t wait to see my own doctor.

Please note I called my local pharmacy to see if they can see me as well as they now “treat minor ailments”…. Was put on hold for 50 mins … this system is broken.

Not a good afterhours clinic. They are open till 8pm, we arrived at 7pm, but they put
papers on the door indicating they are unable to help due to high volume of patients with nobody in the waiting area. Not a good first impression unfortunately.

Jeeze, what’s up with this attitude?😳
I went there with my husband who’d been having an abdominal pain. After quick examination, the doctor told him to go enjoy his life. I mean, my husband literally canceled his weekend plans to seek medical help because of the constant pain and discomfort.

We kept asking questions and were told to google this condition (I kid you not!). No information, no explanation, no references, nothing. The doctor could have spent a couple of minutes to educate us on this and explain why it happened, what he should/shouldn’t do to prevent his condition from getting worse. Instead, he was acting arrogantly and answering every question with an unrelated joke. Sorry we bothered you with our health concern 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly I do no understand how this after hours clinic only has an average of 2.5 stars.
The Doctors are highly educated and also so very kind and efficient . I have been to this clinic several times and they have been so kind and helpful.
The support staff are always on time ,opening up early to get everyone checked in and ready as well.
I do not have a family Doctor and it is so difficult to find one now I am so grateful this clinic exists!
Thank-you to all who work at this clinic, I appreciate all you do.

I visited Collingwood after-hours clinic (the only one in town) a few months ago with my elderly mother-in-law, who was experiencing potential life-threatening thrombosis in her leg. Unfortunately, our encounter with the receptionist and doctor left us shocked and disappointed.

Receptionist Bias: Despite my mother-in-law having a token, the receptionist refused her entry, claiming that “time is up.” This lack of empathy and disregard for urgent medical needs was unacceptable.

Doctor’s Inaction: The doctor also failed to intervene, leaving my mother-in-law without proper care. Waiting for three hours only to be turned away was distressing and unprofessional.

Overall Experience: The receptionist’s rudeness and the doctor’s indifference left a lasting negative impression. As a patient, I expected better treatment and compassion.

Update from last visit: we were again turned away last week for the strep throat test, because doctor never had that experience before and assured us we dont need it! I insisted and it turned out all of the family members had the strep throat.

I urge the clinic to address these issues promptly. Patients deserve respectful and timely care, especially during emergencies. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement.

I received excellent treatment here. The reception was quick and friendly. The doctor was also friendly and answered my questions. Overall, I’m very happy. I recommend this clinic. Be early, and prepared to wait a little. I was there from 4:30 until just before 6 pm.

Honestly had a solid experience. Secretary was very nice and all the staff were quick, efficient, and to the point. Got treatment that got me back on my feet in a couple of days. Only problem is the lack of spots due to size and staff numbers but if you show up early then you'll be fine.

The only reason I can see why there are so many negative reviews is the sensitivity and stress that comes with people's worries over their own health or that of their loved ones and their reaction to things not going their way. That or maybe they caught em on a bad day.

Few people have been wrongfully ticketed here while having tickets on display. The private company will fine you and when you show evidence they have given Improper tickets they will ignore you . This is seriously a big problem and it needs to be addressed by the building manager, this is a clinic.!!! This security employee is harassing paid customers with tickets.... this is a scam 😒 and should be brought to the police knowledge. Innocent people just going for the walk in clinic are having their days ruined by this unprofessional security company, check out the Collingwood social media new pages...many people are complaining and I know I won't support this parking company by parking on this lot or evening parking and paying because they still ticket you. Many people they have in last month, no phone answers from parking company... this is serious scan and the building manager and police need to be involved. It's stealing and harassment.... hope the Manager of the building fixes. The security guard needs be retrained or guidance....
