My family & I have been dealing with Comfort Keepers since early 2024. My mother was discharged from Hospital quite early and needed care while living in her own home.

Comfort Keepers was highly recommended by the Nurses at our Owen Sound Regional Health Centre.

Upon contacting the Lori -Manager for Comfort Keepers in our area, a meeting was set up for the following day to discuss our needs. Within a couple of days, my mom was receiving quality care from a qualified home care provider.

It is such a relief to know mom is receiving quality care while at home both now and in the future as needs change.

I can’t say enough about how amazing the team was that you were able to bring together to care for Dad. They each brought something unique to the relationship they built with Dad. Suni was aptly the sun around which everything revolved. She made sure everyone who worked with Dad knew the drill. She was always there, even on her days off to make sure Dad was well cared for. She laughed with him, she cheered him when he was down and she even managed the impossible - cooking something the way he liked it. Dee was larger than life. She sang with Dad, she revelled in his stories, she truly enjoyed spending time with him. In the last days she massaged his feet and took such care and showed such respect for him it was beautiful. Manju sat by his bedside quietly making a difference with her presence and Nilla worked so hard to support him. She really flourished in her care role.

I can’t thank you enough. You have always been in the background making sure Dad was well looked after. You anticipated his care needs and always kept me well informed.

What a lucky man he was! Thanks to you and your amazing team Mom and Dad were able to stay in their home and live out their last few months exactly how they wanted. We are so blessed.

The staff at Comfort Keepers provided excellent care for my elderly Mother after she was discharged from the hospital. Lori, the manager was right on top of everything. Comfort Keepers (Collingwood) are fantastic. They allow me to care for my Mother in a home without having to be in Collingwood. If she needs cookies or other items CK will pick and deliver. If she need to go to the hospital CK is there to pick her up, take her there and sit with her as necessary.
I I live some 3 hours away from Mom, so CK are my hands and feet at times.

Her quality of life has improved, because of their amazing work.

They take her for walks, and have no problem pushing her in her wheelchair. They bring puzzles and other activities. They sit down and actually talk.

We used Comfort Keepers in a desperate time of need. To be clear, the service provided to my parents was excellent. They were kind and compassionate. The reason for the 1 star review is the billing and support afterwards. They lost cheques, sent invoices that were inaccurate and tried to grossly overcharge my father. Bills with the same invoice number had entirely different amounts. They send emails asking where their money is and the entire time their "bookkeeper" has it. I emailed, texted and called to address these issues and no one cared to return my calls. Once I threatened to not pay at all and deal with this incompetency in court, I got a phone call.
Again, service provided was excellent, but any company of this size should not be using quick books for billing. Check your loved ones bills closely, I fear the elderly that lack attention to detail may overpay and not even know it.

Because of the attentiveness and experience of their trusted care givers, and the level of professionalism they exhibited while seeing our parent through her recovery, she was able to return to a normal assemblance far quicker than even the doctors projected.
