I visited this clinic recently and during my visit we experienced and felt that this medical centre lacks professionalism, kindness, and compassion, especially in a medical setting where patients, children, and seniors deserve better care and welcoming. The front desk staff is mostlt behaves as rude, impolite, unprofessional, and exhibits a negative attitude when we ask questions . they eat and talks while people waiting in line. If you're looking for quality service, this wont be right place. Here you'll experience poor values, wasted time, and inadequate care pattern If you have other options in Brantford, this should be your last resort.

They lied to my son and said they aren't taking in any new patients. You would like to believe that professionals would be honest, but clearly at this establishment they are not and wasted over an hour and a half of our time stating they are not taking on any new patients. It is for the best I believe because how could you have faith in your physician when he cannot be honest with you

If below 0, i would go that extent as well. What is the use, if clinic have nice ambience, Clean and new; The FRONT DESK STAFF does not know how to work with people. They behaves rudely, impolitely, and unprofessionally, displaying a negative attitude whenever we ask questions. They feel you more sick. DONT GO.

This place is HORRIBLE. Coming from one of their patients, I never want to return here ever again. I would rather be without a family doctor for a year or two. The staff at the front desk are rude and dismissive, are not welcoming whatsoever. They are SO overbooked to the point that you are rushed in and out of your appointment within just a couple minutes. It is clear that the doctor is rushing to get everyone in and out. It’s crazy how I have to wait TWO HOURS for my appointment, even when I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, and then get only a minute with the doctor (even after waiting in the patient room after getting called in, for another 10 minutes because the doctor takes forever to come in). This place makes you feel very uncared for.

I have come here many times close to 5pm, thinking they close at 6 (as what it says), and the door is locked and the lady at the front desk says to me through the door, “we can’t take anyone, we are all going home.” So everyone is just leaving early? They close at 6PM, not 5…but apparently that isn’t true. I even said that the website says otherwise, and she said she has no control over what the website says. The listed closing time has still yet to change, so don’t try coming here anytime past 4:30, you’ll have no luck.

The front desk, along with the doctor, often use words like “we can’t do that,” but as soon as you question them, they are suddenly able to compromise or do what you asked of them. For example, called a few days prior to ask if I could come in to see some test results, and was instructed to come in on Saturday at 10AM…arrived at 10AM, and was told a FOUR HOUR WAIT TIME. Ridiculous! She was saying that there are many people waiting (yet there was no one in the waiting room). She said they were waiting at home or in their car for their time to go in. Makes no sense!!! I am here now, I am not driving all the way back home! She then said I could take a seat and would be called in soon. Why was that not the case just a few minutes ago? I watched her turn away many more people with that same excuse, yet I did not see anyone waiting in their cars to come in. I couldn’t be sure, but it seems like an excuse to turn people away. I heard her make a “walk-in appointment” for someone, yet she kept specifying that is it NOT an appointment, just a “first walk-in.” How does that even work? If she can schedule a walk-in, why can’t she just make them an appointment. Nothing makes any sense here.

I also came in for a vaccination, which I told the lady on the phone which vaccination I needed. She had written it in their system, yet the doctor seemed astonished. He told me I cannot get that vaccine here, and needed to go to a different clinic (something that happens often, I always get referred somewhere else). I began to question, and then all of the sudden, they had the vaccine I needed and everything was fine!! What a surprise…

Don’t even get me started on making an appointment. It is impossible to get in within the same month. The doctor is always “fully booked” for the 30+ days. Don’t come here for your prescriptions either, the pharmacy is rarely open.

They don’t seem to care much about privacy for their patients either. The doctor’s computer is open with all patient names, and reason for appointment, facing right toward the patient bed. It’s unsettling to me that people can see when I came in, and what I came in for.

Also, it is funny to see their copy and pasted, mediocre response to each one star review. They really don’t care at all. They definitely don’t even read these.

I’m taking the time to write this while waiting in their waiting room, hoping to save someone else from doing the same. Please, do not come here for a walk-in, for your own sake. You will just be disappointed. Go somewhere else and wait 20 minutes instead of 4 hours. Me, along with my entire family, are planning to call and deroster ourselves from this place. Anywhere else would be better than here.

Honestly, I’ve never even been to the walk in but I have tried on three separate occasions and I’m convinced they just make it up as they go along. Once I brought my son at 5pm, it said they were open until 6. I was not the only person there and confused to find that they weren’t open. No signage saying they had to close early either. The second time I went and it was the same thing. Today I just went and apparently after 1 pm they just decided they were no longer taking in walk in patients. I get that sometimes things happen but it seems like they’re always happening and for a medical clinic you’d think they might be more professional. Needless to say I won’t even try again.

Before you judge this review, understand this is my experience and I'm sure others have had better but this was my 3rd time coming here and 3rd time the same sort of situation.

Came in at 11 for a doctor's note for work, got told it was an hour, so I drove home and called at 12, then they said it was a 45 min wait, then I get here again at 1245 and they say it's 30 more minutes. Now it's 2 pm and I'm still waiting, supposedly I'm next in line, but you can hear the 3 ladies still booking and under quoting the waiting times, one guy here has been waiting 10 minutes for 30 minutes now. I don't care if you guys ever serve me again, this is ridiculous. I literally just need a doctor's note for puking and the runs. It's now 2:04 and I'm finally in the room, which is essentially just another waiting room 2:20, and the doctor has seen me, THE DOCTOR IS A GOOD GUY AND PROFESSIONAL, but the clinic itself is a disaster

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY AND TIME.

I've studied what they do: they book appointments while people come in for walk ins, so double booking and lying to the people who walk in about the times.

If you have a similar experience, make a review, that's the only way places like this change

I’m incredibly disappointed with the management at Conklin Medical Centre. As a new patient. Despite being told 40 min wait, I had to leave after waiting nearly two and a half hours due to lack of coordination among the front desk. The staff’s attitude was dismissive, and it felt like they had little interest in providing genuine care or assistance. It’s unacceptable for a medical facility to treat people this way, especially when patients come seeking help and support. I strongly suggest finding a clinic that values professionalism, respects people’s time, and shows compassion to everyone who walks through their doors.
