I own Muskoka Property Care a small lawn, landscape and snow removal company and cooper equipment rental has been there when I need them everytime. Whether it's a chipper rental or a tractor.. even as a stihl equipment dealer they are always professional and very reliable. Including fixing any problems with the equipment. Definitely Recommend Copper Rentals

I purchased a chainsaw from Cooper rentals in Bracebridge and it wouldn’t start right from day one. The next four weeks I gave them multiple opportunities to fix the saw or give me a new one. Although they kept telling me the saw was fixed. After multiple attempts at fixing it, It would never run for more than 30 seconds. The manager was very rude and ignorant, right from the start . She got nastier and nastier as the interactions went on. They eventually lended me a loaner saw to use until they could figure out what was wrong with the saw that I bought. I took the loaner home without looking at it. I looked at it when I got home and the chain was completely dull and it had straight gas in it. I drove back to the store that same day to show them and they blamed it all on me and swore up and down that’s not how they gave me the saw an hour ago and that I was vandalizing their saw and was going to be charged for the damages. That was the last straw for me so I started asking for a refund. The Manager just laughed in my face and walked away yelling back. “You’re not getting your money back” as she walked into the back room. I had to stand there at the counter and wait for her to finally come back because I told them I wasn’t leaving until this was resolved. She still refused to give me a refund that day. About a week later they finally gave me a refund for the saw that they could never get to run. But it wasn’t without a fight. This happened about 5 or 6 years ago and I still get fired up thinking about it. I’m a long time Stihl fan and realize I just had bad luck and ended up getting a lemon that wouldn’t run. I have no problem with that. What bothers me is how the manager treated me. I stayed polite and professional the whole time, I never raised my voice or swore or blamed them for anything. The manager was a completely different story. From blaming me for their mistakes and lack of competence, to straight up hanging up on me or walking away when we were in the middle of a conversation because she was pissed off. The way I was treated was absolutely disgusting. Nobody should ever be treated the way the manager treated me. Especially not a customer.

I have never in my life had any other kind of interaction even remotely close to the ones I had when dealing with the manager. The other people that worked there seemed decent and respectful and understanding.

Took chainsaw in a month ago for sharpening and service. Was told it would be a couple weeks. Went back three times. Kept being told they hadn’t been able to get to it. Hadn’t even looked at it at that point. Just picked it up to take elsewhere. Seem to put their rental business ahead of the people that have actually purchased equipment from them. For the last time!

Yesterday I stopped by Coopers to see if they could help me fix my weedwhacker (that I did not buy there). The staff were amazing and quickly helped fix the issue with no hesitation. I've dealt with Coopers a lot in the past and never had a bad experience.

They have anything you need. Outstanding customer service, competitive pricing, field support available and quality rentals. The rental shows up on time and it is what they say it is. Sometimes machines have problems as it is on any site and if you don't know that, your not in construction. If and when they do the team at this branch has your back to help get your job done.

I brought in my chainsaw to have the chain sharpened on October 23. I was told two weeks as they were busy. After three weeks I called and was told the saw required major repairs and was unsafe to use. I asked for an estimate but never heard back. One month later I was fed up waiting and picked up my chainsaw and was told that I was next in line. Nothing had been done to the chainsaw and it runs fine. There were no major repairs needed. I do not recommend doing business with this company.
