I had Culligan at my previous house and it was a no-brainer having them for my new house in Burlington. Peter was my salesperson. He wasn't pushy and waited until we were fully settled in. He was honest and great at explaining only what we needed.

James and Steve did the install of our water softener and reverse osmosis system under the sink and I was very impressed. They were on time, called me before arrival, they were efficient, well-mannered, clean, and went above and beyond to leave minimal holes and debris in the finished basement as possible. Excellent workmanship and customer service. Very pleased - thank you everyone!

Honestly I can’t believe how easy it was to get everything I needed at a fair price. Seems like a lot of things are difficult to do. They made it easy, and the guys loaded everything for me which was the best part.

Update: 12 August 2023: went to get another replacement bulb. Waited for ten minutes before someone even acknowledged I was there as they were with other customers. Then a white couple came in after me and the lady working there immediately made a bee like for them and ignored me. Culligan Brantford seems determined to deliver the worst service, especially if you're not caucasian, apparently. Maybe next time I'll put on a later of foundation to lighten up my skin just so I can give them another $300 for a UV lamp that doesn't last a year.

Update: 20 Feb 2025. A bit late here but I've tried calling the number and ext they provided multiple times but it has never been answered and my voicemails have gone unanswered. Make of that what you will...

Bought a $10k water treatment system and had the UV bulb go out after 9 months. Got a replacement and asked if they can install it. Was told it's a user serviceable part.

No manuals of any kind on their website for the UV system and after I replaced the bulb, it started leaking. Service tech said there was a broken cork o-ring system but the only o-ring I saw was rubber.

They wanted $400 for the service call.

Completely unacceptable behaviour for a system that's barely a year old. Clearly Culligan has zero confidence in their products.

When they sell you the system, they tell you they'll stand by their service and product but have zero intention of doing it.

We recently purchased a water softening system from Culligan in Brantford. Our sales rep Ian was extremely patient during the first stages of making an appointment. He followed up until we could find a suitable date. He was very informed and experienced, making sure we got an install date for the same week. I am beyond happy that my sinks are no longer white and chalky. My dishes actually come out clean now! For anyone sitting on the fence about purchasing or renting a water softener... Do it! It is the best thing we did! A big thank you to the Tech, James for the install and explanation of how things work. We are very pleased 😀

Culligan took the time to come to my residence and assess the space as well as my needs when I was looking in to a water softener and salt tank. They worked within an odd shaped space to make sure the set up still left me with a functional space in my laundry room, vs the 6 other companies that didn't bother to test my water or visit my residence, and just sent pricing, with no follow up.

Worst service, they are misleading only for sake of their sale
worker sold soft water product instead of rented he sold financing unfortunately i was away due to my job
now i have to pay monthly $85 for equipment
Moreover! they also charged $850 around to remove and reinstall service one home to another house. although worker said at the time of install there is no charges
I have already escalate my concern to customer service and they said some one will contact me soon but no one contact yet
its been 5 days
never recommend service fake commitment
