I'm regularly stopping into Cut Rite to spoil my pup with bones and chicken feet. Attached are photos of a few years of doggie birthdays. A Cut Rite bone since year one.

Every visit the staff have been exceedingly friendly and helpful. They're always willing to go the extra mile to help accommodate my large dog and his large bone needs, often going so far as to cut something special if the offered selection doesn't have what we're looking for. They've even special wrapped his birthday and Christmas bones.
I love that they always have sizes and cuts of fresh bones that are appropriate and as safe as possible for every size pup as well as a large selection of other options to spoil your dog.

The humans of my house are on a low meat/vegetarian diet, but this would definitely be one of my main sources of eggs/meats if that wasn't the case. On the rare occasion I have cooked with beef, the difference between ground meat from Cut Rite v.s. grocery store selections has also been surprisingly significant. Maybe it's the ratio of fat, or just the selection and amount of cows that go into the product, but I sincerely recommend butcher sourced ground beef from anyone looking to elevate their cooking.

Not as a critique, but a wishful desire—I would appreciate it if there was more information about the animals and farms they are sourced from on the butcher's website. I would pay a premium and purchase much more for myself if there was even a small selection of meats with a confirmed exceptional diet and environment during life and/or from older animals. Even if it was only on offer occasionally.
I do understand the impracticality of such a request and that it is a lot to ask of any small business. No hate to any individual or small business surviving in our current food systems, this is just an area I choose to very cautiously direct my money towards.

Despite any moral hesitations I have around purchasing animal products, this is a wonderful local shop I always feel good about supporting. I'm so thankful that they exist in my community and I am able to procure so many animal products for my furry roommates. Every time I see the young boys in the shop I swear I remember seeing them at half the height. It's the kind of small, local, family business that I wish we had more of in the city.

Having only order half beefs from the farmer directly with a handshake and a promise to pay, this is my first adventure to ordering beef on line. I knew from previous orders that with there is a time delay as the meat needs to hang for a number of weeks (why I have never really known, so it tastes better maybe?)
I ordered during the middle of hunting season, which delayed my cutting, but nothing I wasn't prepared for. Jim was apologetic because of the delay, but the delay was unavoidable. One needs to avoid cross contamination when going between beef and wild meat, having to clean all machines and the shop before going back to beef. I for one am quite pleased with this dedication of care. I found Jim to be a very pleasant business man. As of now I have not tasted the beef, having only just received it. But if it's as good as the service, I will be definitely coming back.

Came in on Dec 21st as a first time customer. No display cases for meat or prices that I could see. The lady serving us was friendly and asked what I was looking for. I requested two ribeye steaks that were 2 inches thick. She went to the back and came back with the steaks already packaged. A whopping $80 for the two steaks. I was hesitant but she assured me that we would have a fantastic Christmas dinner. I was initially disappointed to see that they gave me an uneven end piece of meat. One side of the steak is 2" but other end is only 1" thick. Steaks were also full of gristle and were chewy, even after marinating for 24 hours. We were both disappointed in the effort put in and the money spent. Will absolutely be going somewhere else next time.

Have ordered 2 butcher boxes and both boxes are excellent meat well worth the prices. Steaks are huge and serve two/three people at least for our family they do and we are a family of 6, pork chops are my favorite they’re so thick great size portion…both boxes did have to wait longer than the estimated pick up date but that is out of their control. Overall very satisfied very friendly staff if you have a question about your order they are so understanding and don’t get upset with more then one call. Just want to edit this and add that they do have a message on their website that states meat packs and delivery can take up to 2 weeks so being patient will do good unlike me hence the couple phone call comment 😀…will definitely recommend the butcher boxes and will be ordering again when we run out

This is the second time this has happened. I get to Cut-Rite, and the door is locked with customers waiting outside. Just like last time, I was informed that the manager was 'on his way,' and the people waiting had been told the same thing 20 minutes earlier. Cut-Rite needs to get their act together! Either change your hours or train your staff—who are inside the store working while people are outside freezing—to operate the cash register. You've lost my business for this week. I'll be purchasing my meat elsewhere.

I highly recommend this place. The owner is very approachable, and the staff is excellent. It's the best spot for meat, eggs, pies, and beef tallow and has superior dog bones compared to pet stores.

Jimmy, Amanda, and the rest of the group at Cut Rite Meats offer an amazing product at a great price. The box of 10 ribeyes is a great deal and the steaks are excellent quality. Jimmy goes above and beyond to guarantee 100% satisfaction. Highly recommend this place!
