My boyfriend needed to have a tooth pulled. It was infected so they put them on 10 days of antibiotics and referred him to an oral surgeon in Newmarket. After about 5 days and no word from the oral surgeon I called to see about making an appointment and Dawson dental had not sent the referral over. I called Dawson dental and they had me email the referral back to them because they didn't even have it. 2 weeks goes by and we still haven't heard anything from the oral surgeon. Call oral surgeon again no referral. I had to call Dawson dental again to get them to send the referral. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Great and very welcoming staff working in this location! I had a wonderful experience with Doctor Gholikhani ! She is so friendly, professional and knowledgeable . Never have to wait long for appointments. Highly recommend!

In comparison to my earlier dental work, specifically a root canal, I was not very keen on that particular dentist and it was the most painful experience ever. But last week I had fillings done by a new female dentist and it turned into the best dental experience to date! Thank you Dr./Ms. Gholikhani! I also have work done there by a Denturist, Julian that has been good experience as well. I also love the software that reminds me of upcoming appts and that it's time to make appts by text. Very up to date! I greatly recommend this Dentist and Denturist.

Really great people work at this location. All the staff are very friendly and informative. The doctor seems like she does good work and everything was done in a timely manor. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that has had a bad experience with dental work in the past. You will not be disappointed.

Actual Dentist and Julien for dentures are good people, the office staff is horrible, cannot listen, or follow even the simplest of instructions. Two different times, they sent estimates to the benefit provider, the first one was NEVER authorized, the second one, they had specific instructions from myself, and Julien to NOT send it in, as not ready, but do they listen, nope.
They had extremely crystal clear instructions on what I wanted, what I will allow done under what conditions, they completely ignored those, proceeded to waste my time with an appointment that nothing could be done on, then it took me at least 3 times, and had to actually get rude with the hygenist to get her to stop setting things up, as she was not going to be doing anything, since she is not qualified to do what was specifically instructed, prior to the appointment being booked.

Fast forward, I personally booked a CONSULTATION only appointment for my spouse for denture work, they completely ignored that, and proceeded to do a complete set, without waiting to find out if anything is covered by benefits, causing extreme hardship, as well as relationship strains.

Talked to them multiple times on the phone throughout all of this, was crystal clear, gave them more than one chance, always get so sorry, it won't happen, yet it does again. I would recommend anywhere but here.

Although the facility, reception, hygienist, and dentist were all great I have one major complaint.

It was not made clear to me ahead of booking that they were not performing regular cleanings with ultrasonic tools, using suction, providing tooth polishing, or even being courteous enough to offer antiseptic mouth wash to rinse after the cleaning. Instead I am given a sink and a cup of water. They offer hand scaling cleaning only – a very basic cleaning (although, again, the hygienist is simply outstanding)
As a matter of professional courtesy, it would have been nice to have been given the option to proceed with the cleaning under the circumstances before sitting in the chair as opposed to being told about this after half of the appointment was conducted. I expect that if they tell their patients about this, they would not close many bookings – at least not me.

Generally disappointing, however, absolutely thrilled with the hygienist. I am aware of many dentists performing regular cleanings. It’s a shame that I had to pay $350 for new patient exam and a hand cleaning only to be sent away with a cup of water and the taste of blood in my mouth. I come to expect ultrasonic cleaning (as I am aware that most offices in the GTA and still performing) as well as at least the decency for some mouth wash at the end.

The staff at this dental office are friendly, which is why I've given it a 2 star. I brought my father here for his teeth infection. My first time booking an appointment for same day emergency I was told to show up at 5:40pm. When I showed up they were closed, it was a Saturday.

It turns out the lady I spoke to which was a dispatcher for the company, left out the fact that she booked me on an unknown date when I clearly mentioned I needed emergency help, I even canceled my other appointment which was for 2 days later.

So that's all fine, mistakes happen. I called in again and booked an appointment which turned out to be a 3 day wait. My father is already fine at this time taking antibiotics so we don't mind this mess up.

Finally arriving today to do our x-ray and consultation. We saw doctor Mobini. He told us that from the x-ray he can tell that there is an infection but he's not sure which one. In order to tell he needs to open the dentures and look, and may also be unable to put them back depending on how things are in there. He said a couple of outcomes are possible.

I asked him what are the range of costs for each outcome after he opens it up. And he said I don't know. So I paid $128 dollars, waited more than a week for an initial emergency and my answer was I don't know.

He wanted to book us an appointment for November 4th to open up the teeth and take a look based on "I don't know" and basically have control over randomly generated numbers of payment when he opened up the teeth. Which could and probably would turn into I can't put the dentures back, so you need to pay $XXXX today.

The problem here is, I expected a little detail for the $128. A range of price is not hard, if you ask a renovator what a renovation would cost, he would look at it without an x-ray and tell you between $4000-30000 for this much space based on so and so.

We just wanted a bit more detail, it isn't too much to ask, I think $128 is worth a sentence with a number in it. Based on this I feel I can't trust this group of dentists and will not return here.

I will be taking him to my previous dentist, the pain in my fathers teeth made me reach out for a quicker solution and I made a mistake to come here. Hopefully this review will help people select a better dentistry for their family or take a potential risk.
