DNR sausage best place to go for spices bags... knowledge these guys know everything about smoking brining sausage making jerky making , knifes, you name it .He has a leather shop in the back ,so if you're a hunter you can take your leather there and get some cool stuff made the other added bonuses you're supporting local.

Selection and service you get from a small privately owned business. These guys are always the most friendly people to deal with. The only place to go if you need meat processing help, supplies or equipment.

There was a time, when customer service was a thing in the business world. Then Capitalism made the companies rich, while their workers poor – living on minimum wages. If you are not loving what you do, you can’t do more than the minimum required by your job. This place is very different. This is the best place and even better folks running it. It’s a great gym hidden in NE, Calgary. Google took me to this place, but I wasn’t expecting feeling so comfortable there (while I am total newbie in this kind of stuff). These guys will walk you through the whole process, that you would be doing at home (for me it was sausage making). I asked them about Halal casing, they didn’t have – but they took my number in case they get some in future. In a couple of weeks I get a call from their store advising the product was here. I made another trip to the store – there were few people there, but they didn’t rush through anyone. The gentleman, gave me another “refresher” on what to do to successfully make some great sausage. They don’t pressure you to buy their stuff either – Since I don’t know much about sausage making, they could’ve sold me lots of stuff, but they were very honest.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Just go their to experience some genuinely human friendly people.

I cant think of a business I'd like to support more than DnR. It is so rare to find such a customer-centric and genuine business these days. Lloyd and the team are so helpful with product selection, they have an incredible inventory, offering up tips and tricks, and even go so far as to offer after hour support should you require it - at no charge!
The team here is genuinely interrested in making sure you are successful in all of your saussage making endeavours.
I cannot reccomend this place highly enough - check it out, you will not be disapointed!
