I applied to both Dr. Eskander and Dr. Beshay (at the same Shepard Centre medical facility) without knowing they do not allow it. I met with Dr. Eskander hoping to get to know her and find out what she was like as a person. I thought, as a prospective patient, it was wonderful that I would get to "interview" the doctor before deciding who to be a patient with. Very good for the patient to be aware of all options. No. Dr. Eskander looked at me as if I was from another planet. She chastised me for applying to two doctors and said that was not allowed. Before even a normal conversation could start, she said "you must decide right now if I am your doctor or Dr. Beshay is your doctor". Absolutely arrogant and ridiculous. I said I would be going with Dr. Beshay but after thinking about that for a day, I cancelled that appointment, too. Who wants to be reminded of a terrible interaction with your family doctor. She doesn't get it.

If you ever have the opportunity of Dr. Eskandar taking on more patients, take it. You won't regret it. Never in my life have I ever received such caring and compassionate care from a family physician. In a world where it seems medical professionals are expected to do a months worth of work in a day, I never feel rushed or unseen in my appointments. She is calm, kind and takes the time to treat my family. Also, her secretaries are amazing!! I love how friendly and super organized they are!! Just a fantastic team.

I miss Dr Meuller. Dr Eskandar has never made me feel welcome. Her demeanour is cold and uncaring. I feel judged and my concerns are not taken seriously. Actively looking for a different solution but not a lot of Drs taking on patients.

I couldn't be happier with any other family doctor. Dr Eskandar is very professional and saves no effort in making her patient's life better. She genuinely cares about the person as a human being and not as a medical case. People like her are very rare to find. Highly recommended.

I started seeing Dr Eskandar a few months back when I moved from BC to Ontario. Since then I have gone to see Dr Eskandar many times as I am now pregnant. I have never had a problem getting an appointment within a timely manner and the availability is accommodating to my work schedule. Unlike other doctors offices I have been to in the past, there is never an issue to get a hold of the receprionsit and when you call, you get to speak to a real human receptionist rather than a recording. Dr Eskandar is usually on time and wait times have never been long if there is a brief delay. The Dr is great at addressing your concerns with an excellent bed side manner. I would highly recommend this doctors office and Dr Eskandar to anyone living in the KW area!
