Based only on this last experience, every other time we have ordered gravel or dirt has been perfectly fine, but this time I was given about 10 minutes notice that the dirt load was being delivered and I happened to not be home. I wasn't even told it was being delivered that day just 'sometime this week'. Then before I could even get ahold of Gail at the office it was dumped on my yard. I ordered the dirt for my greenhouse which is on a hill. Now I have to push 8000 pounds of dirt up a hill in a wheelbarrow. Gail was unsympathetic, unapologetic, and extremely defensive. Again every other time we have ordered from Drain Bros. It has went off without a hitch and they are a company that does great things for our community.

All round great company so far , but i have a complaint, when ordering gravel or dirt I wish I knew an accurate time like morning or afternoon for delivery- Not a " it'll be there on thursday or friday"(ordered on monday) than forget to deliver. This has happen to me twice now. I understand it's the busy season and I'm just a nobody but i just don't want to be waiting around for 2 days and taking time off work which is costing me. Would be nice if you would give a call as an update that it'll be here morning or afternoon day of.

We had our driveway recently regraded and widened by Drain Brothers. Our neighbour had some stone work done in the past and recommended them to us. We were VERY pleased with the results! Pricing was also fair. Scott initially came out to quote and was very knowledgeable, gave us some great ideas and was always available to answer any queries we had. Alan and Dave were also phenomenal! They showed up on time and worked their hardest, even on the hottest days, without a complaint and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. My husband and I would highly recommend Drain Brothers without hesitation! Thank you guys again for a stellar job! We will definitely use your services again, if needed!

Can you please slow down on County Road 6? Dangerous driving on these windy roads is not safe or considerate for smaller cars. Plus, stones hitting windshields is a real thing when the dump trucks drive so fast.

Great all around, reliable and fairly priced. I highly recommend if you need aggregate. Office staff is awesome to deal with, truck drivers are friendly and easy to get along with. Their boys did a good job paving my street too!

This company is the most unprofessional, inconsiderate operation around.
As per the multiple 1 star reviews about employee behaviour.
Unfortunately it's going to take a major incident before any legal action is taken, but it will happen.

The driver of truck #192 did NOT have his tarp down which is dangerous on many levels. Courtice Rd heading Westbound on the 401. Rocks were flying off left, right and centre. One hit my windshield and the other off the roof of my car. I followed the vehicle, got the truck number, the phone number and called to discuss what happened and was met by the most rude unprofessional man named Jeff. Right away he was 'unable to do anything'. Said his driver said he had put the tarp down. Of course the driver isn't going to admit any wrongdoing. Because then he would be written up and reprimanded.
God forbid it didn't happen to a person in a convertible.
But give me a break. A big company, not admitting fault. And now here I am, a single mom, having to fit the bill for THEIR drivers incompetence.

Ran low on sand/salt and my regular supplier was unavailable. One call to Drain Brothers and they delivered a load ahead of schedule, to make sure I was taken care of before a forecast storm arrived. Great service, nice people!
