Dr. Sandilands specifically has been incredible-she truly listens and addresses my concerns at the root to help me achieve my best health. After years of struggling with menstrual pain she's created a realistic & preventative treatment plan that works for my lifestyle - she is heaven sent! I've also had the pleasure of getting IV's in the IV lounge; it's such a relaxing and rejuvenating space, and every ND I've met there is always kind, compassionate, and attentive. I have been with DNHC for 2 years and now use them as my primary care team. Dr. Nicole Sandilands is a phenomenal Naturopath specializing in women's health. She is thorough in her diagnostics and focused on preventative medicine. Following thorough blood work I started receiving B12 & vitamin D injections- what a difference those made along with the lifestyle changes prescribed to me. Everyone's circumstances are different but for my health needs, Dr. Sandilands never goes to the easy fix first. Her focus is on lifestyle adaptation and then supplements as a secondary support.

The second part of my care is with their Nurse Practitioner team. This is where my more traditional medical needs are met with ease in a comfortable, private setting. Private medical care is of the greatest importance to me, the team at this clinic has my lifelong business and most importantly my trust.

Lastly, Anne-Marie gives the most incredible massages. She fixed an ongoing knee issue I had and can always inform me on what daily movements are aggravating my back and hips. I used to be on her table bi-weekly out of necessity, now I can go because I want to.

I highly recommend Durham Natural Health Center for their competency and for the comprehensive team of practitioners. The updated space is also gorgeous!

This clinic destroyed my health and put my life at risk. Please read before considering treatment here.

In February 2024, I went to Durham Natural Health Centre for IV therapy to address dehydration and build strength for an upcoming surgery. Before this treatment, I had zero heart or vision problems, and my health was stable. What happened next has left me permanently disabled and fighting for my life.

After the first IV treatment, I immediately began experiencing alarming symptoms: vision loss, dizziness, intense ear pressure, nausea and a significant drop in blood pressure. When I raised my concerns, the staff not only dismissed them as “completely normal” but reassured me with a smile, saying, “knock on wood.” Trusting their reassurances, I returned for a second treatment. This decision led to my collapse, hospitalization, and the beginning of a nightmare I am still living today.

Since that day, my health has completely unraveled. Several of Canada’s top specialists, including a team of heart experts, have confirmed that the reaction caused irreversible damage to my body. I now suffer from microclots in my arms and legs, severe gastroparesis, and a resting heart rate of 170 bpm. I faint every time I try to stand, cannot eat without vomiting, and have lost the ability to undergo the surgery I initially sought to prepare for—leaving my life at constant and immediate risk.

The clinic’s negligence is appalling. Despite my clear reaction to the first IV, they proceeded with a second treatment, claimed my symptoms were “normal,” and failed to monitor or support me when I became critically unwell. They have refused to disclose the contents of the IV bags, leaving even Canada’s leading specialists unable to reverse the damage. Their lack of transparency and accountability has devastated my health, robbed me of my future, and permanently changed my life.

Shockingly, this clinic continues to operate as though nothing has happened, putting countless others at risk of the same life-altering harm.

Please, do not trust this clinic with your health. Their recklessness and negligence have left me permanently damaged, and no one deserves to endure what I am going through. Avoid this place at all costs.

What a great experience. I don’t leave reviews but I have to say that Natalie was very professional and I still follow her advice and I’ve never felt better. I would recommend this for anyone trying to improve their day to day..
