Horrible experience every single time I call. Some of the receptionists are nice but Nicole is something else. Rude right off the bat eveytime, I dread having to call because I pray that I don't have to talk to her. Everyone I know friends and family that go to or call this place specifically complains about one girl. Nicole. It also takes forever to get any repeats filled for prescriptions and you ate told everytime that they haven't gotten a request even over months and many faxes. So many other problems but all others I can deal with except rude people working with the public. I'd hate to know how she treats people where maybe English isn't their first language or something similar. If you have to call this place pray that you don't get Nicole.

Terrible place. The doctor drops you because you’re not 75 & Nicole the nurse practitioner knows nothing & tells you very rudely to go to physiotherapy when you tell her you can’t walk and you complain about not being able to walk for six months to the doctor after she does nothing & passes you off to the nurse practitioner. Paying for healthcare will be a good thing for Canada because then you can go to decent doctors and nurse practitioners, people who actually know something and care, and can empathize. I was a patient for 10 years here and my pain was never controlled and no matter what dr I had, they don’t care.

I have had nothing but issues since Dr. Sinclair retired. When I got in with my new doctor, she prescribed medication. I asked if it conflicted with my other meds and she said "no" - which was incorrect. I also have huge issues with the secretaries involving clarity on appointments and general scheduling problems (scheduling me for something, giving me the wrong dates and inaccurate descriptions of what will happen at the appointment). Will be looking for a new family doctor.

Update: still haven't found a new doctor, but my doctor hasn't reached out after I was told she would do so to talk about a medical leave from work. Their failure to do this might compromise my benefits coverage. I tried calling them today to ask about setting an in-person appointment AND THE MESSAGING SYSTEM IS JUST SENDING ME THROUGH A REPETITIVE LOOP. I hate this place.

All the doctors have been wonderful, I've been going to this location for over 20 years.
However, tonight I met one that extremely overstepped with regards to my one year old.
I found the doctors lack of understanding of child developmental stages to be lacking at best and fell into confrontational and rude.
She attempted to reprimand me for my parenting abilities and scolded me for letting him touch the stool with wheels on it, and the mouse cord.
She said "I don't like my room being messed up"
And "come on mom, no we don't let them touch things"
I proceeded to explain that she's never met him, to which she informed me that she has 2 children.

Extremely different than the past doctor we saw who scooped up my son and did the visit while he hung off her hip.

But during tonight's visit my son was in my lap as I struggled to contain him from touching more items, she told me "he just wants mama cuddles" while in actuality he was trying to beat me up so he could get down. Once on the floor he proceeded to throw himself down and started screaming because he's sick and tired.
Doctor looked at me and asked what's wrong....

As we were leaving she asked if he could have a sticker.
I thought to myself, she has to know that one year olds think stickers are for eating!
Clearly her 2 children are teens by now and she forgets childhood developmental stages of early years.
Or she actually want him to choke on it

The clinic is very good but the new dr ... well shouldn't be a dr. yet, no experience, do not listen to the patients, did not review my history records except for one thing which this dr did not understand & had to have it explained to her. There was no compassion or interest in understanding my records! This has caused my family terrible grief in a time of extreme need! After a decade of great care the new dr. Basically lied to me and abandoned my care in the worst possible time in my life greatly affecting my entire family! Never been more disappointed with my care & wellbeing in my entire life! I am so ill now & left to suffer horribly with no help!! Beware!!

Dr. Alkenbrach has provided nothing but exceptional care to me and my mother. She’s gone above and beyond and is a caring, dedicated and educated doctor and I’m lucky to have her. My experience between Dr. Sinclair’s retirement and Dr. Alkenbrach’s care was not a good one which makes me appreciate her care that much more.

Not sure if the medical system itself is broken or just Dr. Taylor (Aylmer). Phoning for an appointment and being told “nothing for 3 weeks just doesn’t cut it with me. A “receptionist seems to be in a position of “triage” now …. Really? When I commented I was told to “find another doctor”. WOW
