I needed to find transportation home from the Fort Saskatchewan hospital after surgery, since they weren’t going to let me take a taxi. Barilyn was incredibly helpful. At first she was trying to arrange a ride home, but the hospital told her I need to have someone at home too, so I couldn’t be dropped off.

Somehow she managed to get them to agree to let me stay late, until I can go home on my own. I don’t know how she did it, because I already asked if I could do that and they said no. If it weren’t for Barilyn, I probably would have had to cancel my medical procedure. Words cannot express my gratitude for your help, Barilyn!

I had a medial procedure (day surgery) booked at the Fort Saskatchewan hospital but I was worried that I may have to cancel since they weren’t going to let me take a taxi home, I didn’t have someone to “sign me out,” and I couldn’t stay there later for the anesthetic to wear off.

Barilyn was first trying to arrange transportation for me, but the hospital told her that wasn’t good enough because I have nobody at home to stay with me after the surgery. Somehow Barilyn managed to convince them to let me stay there late, until they felt I was able to take a taxi home. I don’t know how she did this, because they told me I couldn’t when I asked.

If it weren’t for Barilyn, I might have had to cancel my procedure. I had the procedure, and words cannot express my gratitude to her.

This quieter arm of the Fort Sask municipality is there when you need them. My brother has come home to set up his retirement plan including lodging. The outreach services here in the Fort are spectacular. Alexandria fro The Dr Turner Lodge is all knowing and an incredible lady to get you going on the right path . Jessica her assistant is as good as they get. Then there is Lucas who’s wealth of knowledge is hugely important. He will help with financial/home/medical assistance. By far the focus of this group is the ongoing support the provide not only to seniors but all those who require assistance

You were extremely helpful and let me rant to you and explain all my situations, how you immediately helped my boyfriend and I. I cannot put in words how grateful I am for your help.
