I went with a terrible pain in my throat after spending more than an hour and a half in another clinic where they told me to drink tea and hot soup and wait seven days for the pain to disappear. I arrived at First Choice Clinic and in less than half an hour they attended to me and DR Al-Ali, Suhad was very successful in helping me with that problem from the moment I took the medicine I felt immediate improvement. Thank you for understanding and helping in situations like these. The clinic is impeccable and the pharmacy service is also excellent. I also told him that my husband had the same thing to which he very kindly suggested that he also stop by to help him. THANK YOU Dr Al Ali, you do care about your patients.

Disappointing Experience at First Choice Medical Facility

I recently visited First Choice Medical Facility and was surprised by the lack of consideration for patients' comfort. Upon arrival, I was asked to remove my shoes, which I understood for sanitary purposes. However, I was then showed waiting room with freezing cold floor, which seemed counterintuitive for a medical facility.

As a medical facility, I expect a certain level of care and attention to patient comfort. Making patients stand on a cold floor without providing any alternative seems neglectful. I hope the facility takes steps to address this issue and prioritize patient comfort.

Until then, I would caution others to be prepared for an uncomfortable experience.

My family and I are very satisfied with this clinic. We have our own family doctor who is always attentive to our questions. It is especially nice that you can get to the doctor on the day you need it because there is a walk-in.

I’ve been coming to First Choice for a while as it became my new family clinic. With that being said I’ve waited over an hour after my appointment time to get in the room on many occasions. They had started me on medication but then proceeded to go on vacation and I couldn’t get a refill, then when I managed to get an appointment 3 months later, I needed to see my doctor to which I was informed she was on vacation again. I do not recommend this medical centre if you are looking for attentive and helpful care. Beyond disappointed.

Grateful this office provides a walk-in clinic. Staff are friendly and efficient. The doctor I saw was matter of fact and proficient. Got my test results within a few days, was able to access them via their secured portal.

First Choice Medical Centre should definitely be your first choice! I drove an hour from Banff to be a walk in patient, and the receptionist got me in even though they had a sign up saying no walk ins till after 1pm (I got there at 11am). Receptionists were super kind and friendly 😊 I seen Dr Hamid and she was very kind and informative. The pharmacist was also very friendly and kind. Will definitely be coming back to this clinic for my medical needs. Very clean, professional and welcoming atmosphere !

I was seen here today along with my Son. Exceptional service. We walked in as a walk in and was told 30 minutes for the wait. Less then 20 minutes, we were seen by the doctor and on our way. So grateful to have a walk in clinic back in town. The exceptional service is what will bring us back here, along with the kind staff.
