Update:Jan 2025
Ok hugely busy but super friendly, there was a huge pile of people messing up the bagged milk area. But one of the store employees, his name was Griffin (I think) helped me dig through the bottom rack to find 1 percent lactose free milk which was buried behind carelessly customer tossed bags ..out of my reach. As he was busy stacking butter and actually helped.This guy was super friendly and helpful and should get the Employee of the month award!

From a year prior:

Great prices. Good assortment of fresh veg and fruit. Watch the shelf pricing as occasionally you will see a great sales price, but the item is in a slightly different area or sold out. They are quick to check it for you if it's not showing up right at the till.

Food basics has the best produce! And the best overall prices - great friendly staff too. Thank goodness this chain of grocery stores isn't price gouging like some other grocery stores. Thank you food basics for helping people to be able to put food on the table 👍🏼👍🏼

Terrible customer service from the Cashier today. I wasn't impressed with my groceries getting smashed from the person behind me as I am hurrying to bag my groceries.
