There is no due process in the city of Hamilton to dispute parking tickets. The department is only accountable to itself, and proclaims itself to be the judge and jury without any escalation options. If you are repeatedly targeted by a neighbour, the city of hamilton despite their own statements, and public statements from city councillors citing “discretion” when such neighbourhood disputes generate frivolous complaints, in actual action the parking authority only cares about generating revenue.
Special mention here for sneaky by-law officer C. Charette who lurks around neighbourhoods at 2am, and Lynsey Wighton, a screening officer, judge, and jury.
These are the champions in our city of the “Karens” of the world.
