I recently purchased a power lift chair from Golden Technologies of Canada, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The service I received was excellent from start to finish. Their staff is not only knowledgeable but also extremely friendly and helpful.

One of the standout features is their impressive warranty, which provides peace of mind. The entire process, from choosing the chair to delivery, was incredibly smooth and well-managed. They truly make the entire experience super easy for their customers. I highly recommend Golden Technologies of Canada for anyone in need of a quality lift chair and exceptional service.

When a person buys a mobility scooter or any device that needs to support his or her disability, they put a lot of TRUST directly & indirectly in the company that builds the device. That's a given, right?

My Golden Technologies is Buzzaround LX (GB149A) mobility scooter was one of the WORST investments ever made to support my disability. I purchased the scooter from Scooter Country for about $3,000 and it's only used indoors but it is driven daily. Although this scooter performs well in most cases, unfortunately and understandably there is minor wear and tear on certain parts, especially armpads. You'd think this is a simple and common item thats easy to source and purchase without getting ripped off?... No such luck...Turns out it's a "special order" item and boy does it come at a premium cost compared to other scooters that have had in the past!

Apparently since it's a special order, it takes more than a month to get these pads and have them delivered - and that's according to Scooter Country who seems like a reputable vendor.

Ultimately Scooter Country couldn't provide the arm pads as they kept missing the target delivery dates. I contacted four more dealers in the network and all echoed the exact same feedback, Golden Technologies is very difficult to work with and UNNECESSARILY EXPENSIVE for parts.

A pair of armpads shipped to a dealer is approximately $190, then there's the cost of shipping it to me. So we're getting close to the $240 mark for a simple pair of arm pads. Ridiculous.

Again, one thing that's refreshing to see is that all the dealers that I spoke with echoed similar pricing and the same feedback that Golden Technologies is NOT a a vendor of choice. Atermarket support is atrocious.

I'll never purchase or recommend anything that's Golden Technologies. Since our options are limited in this space post covid, I'll just stick with pride mobility from now on.

From the moment my husband contacted them about their BUZZ Around EX Scooter we could not have been happier with Golden.
Their Sales and Marketing Manager Katie helped us personally and professionally and we were able to go from test drive to delivery in 5 days. From previous reviews I can say that we experienced no hint of the problems from previous reviewers- Golden is a first class professional company who have a great relationship with their dealers and put us in touch with the right people immediately. Has to be the worst company I ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have a bearing going on my Golden Technology scooter and it is impossible to get any support form this company. They referred me to local retailers and when I contact those local retailer, they can get any response from Golden Technology to order the part.

I am happy to say I am a proud owner of a beautiful twilight lift chair from Golden Technologies. It is hands down one of the best purchases I have made. I bought the chair because I am experiencing a difficult pregnancy and knew I would be having a c section birth and getting comfortable was next to impossible. The swelling in my feet was hard to get rid of or even lessen, until the twilight came along. The feature of having my feet above my heart rate changed everything! The swelling is no longer an issue. The lift function made it so I didn't have to use my abs to get in and out of the chair. It's comfort is one to be admired! It's the perfect balance of supportive/firm and cozy/soft. I highly recommend people buying this chair even if you don't have any pregnancy issues, even more so if you do! The stress that is removed from being able to finally find comfort is priceless.

I have never dealt with a company that could care less about their customers.
I e-mailed Golden about a possible warranty claim to see if it was covered. Their reply was find a service dealer.
After finding a service dealer and getting my chair fixed I decided I wanted a new lift chair.
Ordered a power lift chair through a dealer that was in stock and to be delivered within 4 days. After 7 days the dealer inquired about my chair and could not get any update. Several times I contacted the dealer and was told that Golden was not giving any update information on my order.
I contacted Golden head office in the U.S.and was told it was not their concern and to contact Golden in Canada.
I e-mailed Golden in Barrie inquiring why if my chair was in stock why it was taking so long to deliver and why they could not respond to the dealers inquiries.
I did not receive any response from Golden Technologies.
After 4 weeks of waiting a chair was delivered !
I will not deal with this company again.

I purchased the Orion PR405 some time ago and figured it was about time to do a review. I'm a very heavy set fellow with some major back and leg issues. We chose this one because it has what they call the "twilight" feature. Basically, it allows your feet to rise above your heart and provides the feeling of weightlessness. It helped with my swelling as well as relieving pressure. This thing could almost replace my bed! In fact, it sometimes does. One of the bonus features I've been enjoying is the USB port. I figured it would be something I wouldn't use much and wrote it off as a gimmick. Well, now its a must have for me. I'm constantly plugging my phone or tablet into it. I love the material too. We chose a brown fabric that feels super smooth and after awhile it still looks new. This is no easy accomplishment due to our cats. Im impressed! Usually our fabric looks worn just from all the jumping they do after a very short period of time.

Customer service was great and provided updates throughout the process as I requested it. I've compared this to other brands in store and Im super happy with my choice. Thanks Katie!
