Although my father was only here for a brief time, even in those few short weeks, staff were without exception, respectful, caring, thoughtful and kind. The building itself is a bit old, but who doesn't love gargoyles on the eaves?

Facilities maybe older, but are well kept and clean. Activities and therapy are amazing. I'd like to thank everyone there for making my father's last few days comfortable with love and compassion. I and my family greatly appreciated everything you did.

The quality of care and concern are well above average at Golden Years. My Mum is treated with love, care and tenderness from all the staff. The building is a touch old thus only 4 stars, but the family atmosphere is so desirable in this Long Term Care Facility that the small areas of concern with the building fade away into the woodwork. The staff even makes Mum's Family feel cared for when we visit her and are very careful to keep us in the loop as to Mum's care.Thank you to all the Staff at Golden Years for making Mum' s stay at LTC as nice as possible. You should have a 6 star staff rating! Thanks again.

Dad has been at Golden Years for one year. From the very first day he moved in, he was treated by staff like he was one of the family. The PSW’s, nurses, doctors and staff have been providing excellent care, showing a true sense of caring and compassion. Our family looks forward to our visits with Dad because the home has become our 2nd home ... we are always welcomed with smiles and hugs and a positive attitude. The decision a year ago to have dad live at a Golden Years did not come easy ... however we have absolutely no regrets! Our family would recommend this LTC without a doubt. Many thanks to everyone involved in Dads care!

My stay at Golden Years was special. Most of the staff should be getting medals for the care that they give to each resident. Even when the staff is short shifted they go above and beyond what is required. I would like to thank the PSW's Angie?, Vickie?, Janice?for being there and helping me. I would like to thank a PSW Lisa that would bring her pet Misty in to brighten up our days. The activity personnel deserves badges as well. A special thank you to Val who made my stay memorable.
The company needs to support their staff in order to keep them and treat them fairly.

Complete and utter sh*thole. Made the mistake of letting my mom move in here (retirement side, not long-term care side) and in the few months she stayed, she was stolen from, gaslighted, and neglected. Residents frequently smoked in the stairwell, staff knew and did nothing to stop it. My trips through the long-term care side were extremely depressing, staff made zero effort to engage residents in anything social, instead just wheeling them into the hallway to drool at each other. I understand by the time someone gets to long-term care they're typically far gone, but that's no excuse for what I can only describe as neglect that happens at this place. Even the retirement side had no real programming to try and keep the residents' minds and bodies active.

186+ days in the hospital. Not even a month later after being sent to this facility she went septic and passed away. You guys isolated her thinking it was Covid was it WASNT! She wasn’t eating and nobody was moving her in or out of bed. She died all alone because of your negligence

I have never seen such attentive caring people like there is at this home. My mother in law loves it here. The food is fantastic. Now that she is in palliative care they are treating her with so much love and caring and most of all dignity. Thank you all for the love and care and going over and above.

Dad is treated with respect and enjoys the staff's attentiveness. We are happy he is in a place that takes care of him. Great variety of meals and Dad enjoys the outside excursions he has been on.
