I found them extremely easy to deal with. They were very clear on all processes. They helped us out with my parents' wills, and we felt that they were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will be using them continuously from now on. It's good to feel secure when you have people like taking care of you.

I will start with the good things. Everything that was explained to me from the lawyer we spoke with at this firm was clear and made sense. However after what seemed like a quick consultation roughly 30 minutes from what I recall, they mailed me a $500 dollar invoice and would not accept a credit card payment over the phone so I had to drive to the office to pay in cash. It would have been preferable to have them to us at the time we had to pay that amount instead of having to drive back another day to pay them.

Very disappointed in this service. The day I took my mother to rewrite her will , he did tell us that he was waiting for a phone call and that he would have to leave if he gets it. At the same time we could tell he wasn't really listening and when I picked the will up 6 weeeks later, there wasn't just one mistake , it had many.
bank accounts were wrong, my sister who passed away was put into the will. A brother was left out. when I went in to get them to rewrite it. He said he had to talk to my mom which was fine. But he was so willing to write us off. Because I was a little upset with these mistakes. I didnt get the chance to show him all the mistakes. I'm just very sad that I wasted my mother's time and my time and now I still need to go somewhere to get a will done for her. He obviously doesn't like dealing with the little people anymore.

Ps I know He needed to talk to my mother about the changes. But he didn't even give me the time to show him the changes. Because I showed them that I wasn't totally happy with the way this was going. He would rather me go elsewhere than trying to even making it right.

My parents used this law firm for their wills and seemed professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Fast forward to last year, my brother also used this firm for his will. (Side note: he claimed to be a good friend of my brother). My brother subsequently passed away and between the executor and this lawyer it’s been a nightmare for the siblings. The executor, who I understand, is obligated by law to disclose how the estate is progressing has been silent from the beginning and refuses any and all contact with his siblings (who are also beneficiaries). In desperation we have reached out to Mr. Grantham (only 3 times total) and he has been bordering on rude and lately refuses to return the last 2 calls to him. His assistant is about as bright as a burned out light bulb so no assistance there either. Not even sure she has passed on the request for a return call. Who knows.
The bottom line is this lawyer has been extremely unprofessional in his interaction with our family and I wouldn’t recommend him to draw up a grocery list for me.

The person that answer the phone did not know anything about anything, they should hire people who are familiar with what they do, when finally spoke to the lawyer , he interrupted me to tell me they didn't do what I was asking for, it turns out he assumed I needed something else based on what the other person understood, and they actually do what I needed, needless to say I'm not using their services, extremely rude and unprofessional. wouldn't recommend!

We waited 9+ months for a development agreement so we could subdivide. It was Supposed to take about 2 weeks. The development agreement was supposed to be just around a $500/1000 Ish Because they already had one Drafted and it was on file as Rosser and my lawyer already knew about the Pre existing development agreement that Grantham already had made for Rosser when they subdivide an acreage you need to make a written agreement between The person developing the land and the municipality. To make a long story short Grantham added one paragraph To the already existing agreement and charged us $4000 what I don't get is on our bill we do not have a breakdown other than a 300$ charge for services like currier and another small fee no hourlybreakdown or fee breakdown. The worst part is the stuff that he had included in that 1 paragraph was taken out by my lawyer and by land titles because they said that they didn't know what they were doing when they made this agreement. For example I showed my bank/lawyer the DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT they were like no Dont sign this it's Wrong! Grantham had made Rosser 1st charge on our mortgage Instead of our bank this is just one example of Many issue's. Instead of our subdivision taking one year it took 2 years Grantham had our agreement for 9 months in total and it sat in their office for over 3 months at 1 time without being touched or anyone Contacting me or my lawyer. Then it came to all of the other things that Grantham didn't do. Because Grantham is also Rosser's lawyer they sat on my variance for a month as well. Without returning any phone calls to our Planning division calls or municipality or my lawyer. After reading this write-up I hope everybody is cautious. Before you get a bill that is 4 times the cost and it takes 2 times as long as they are told. I could go on all day about Grantham. I'm not the only person. The people who had purchased my house had nothing but problems as well. The Offer to purchase was forgotten on a shelf or somewhere by Grantham they physically had to go down to the office to make things start Rolling and she was 8/9 months pregnant she wasn't happy! Not a very good experience!
