I don't know where to begin. I broke my glasses and wanted plastic lenses instead of glass. I've had plastic before. The guy REFUSED to sell me plastic lenses. Glass is over double the price of plastic lenses. He then threw ugly frames down on the counter and said "these would look good on you".
They were the most expensive frames in the place. Don't go here, they're far too money hungry. Service, needless to say, was poor.

I went to Hakim Optical this past February. My eye test was done there and my prescription was written up for progressives. I chose my frames and purchased my glasses. When I got home with my new glasses I realized they were made for distance and not progressives at all. I immediately phoned them and the response I got was there is nothing we can do. I realized it's been a few months but I'm still upset about it. I'm a senior living on Old Age. I don't have money to throw away.

Today is Nov 10 2023. I went into Hakim with my best friend today so she could pick out glasses. They even allowed her ESA in the store. Sophie and Jikku were the staff working and they were Awesome! They worked well together and very much tired to make sure everything was done. Thank you for a great experience

Great Experience. I would give them 5 stars, but they don't carry most of the large names in glasses frames. They do have a large selection of obviously their own brand name frames.

After contacting several places to schedule a eye check up, the people at Hakim Brockville were more polite and efficient then the others. They also were able accommodated a scheduling issue I was having. The day of my appointment I arrived about 15 min early and the store was moderately busy. They were quick to greet me and get me through my eye inspection. The staff were all polite and respectful, the optometrist was particularly pleasant and seemed to be very knowledgeable. I would go back again.

I will never buy glasses from this company in Brockville again.. if you go in expecting to get your glasses in 2 weeks, it takes about a month, not to mention a runaround.. waiting for replacement frames, just frames, it has been 3 weeks.. and still telling me that I will have to wait longer, just for safety glasses frames.. worst customer service ever good luck if you deal with them.

the optometrist was amazing 5 stars and the one Canadian who helped me amazing the rest not so much the main guy tried to charge me for an eye exam covered by ohip. then refuses to let anyone use both benefits if you have more then one you would have to pay and send it in to the other company. I don't have time to play paperwork and mailing things in and wait 18 weeks for a check, given it's Christmas and holidays. If I am paying 300.00 plus I will go to a locally Canadian owned small business and non-trudeau accredited company. I won't ever go back there even for an eye exam they are just out to line their own pockets.

I have purchased glasses and contact lenses from this location for years, and have received excellent service. The last time I was there a couple of months ago, Du Linh was extremely helpful, trying to find me the correct transitional lenses. I was having trouble finding a pair that were comfortable. Friendly and prompt service. And very knowledgeable.
