I have not been to see my doctor in awhile and called to make an appointment. My call was quickly answered by a receptionist named Jaime. She advised me in advance that he is booking only as of November. She was super nice with me and was very accommodating with my schedule to get me an appointment. I live in the far east of town, so being accommodating with my work schedule to go to the west end of town is very important to me. Thank you again Hazeldean Medical.

I've been with Dr. Thenon for 6 years, across three different clinics from Vanier to Kanata. However, at this clinic, two of the receptionists have been very rude. Mary hung up on me after being unprofessional and not listening to me. When I called back, Jamy, another receptionist, sided with her colleague, also didn’t listen to me, and even yelled at me, trying to make it seem like they weren’t at fault. I was shocked! To make matters worse, they gave my doctor a completely false version of events. It's unfortunate that I now have to change my physician, despite going from Orleans to Kanata to see her. Also, in this clinic, receptionists don’t do any follow up; you have to call them to get a blood test prescription or to check if a form or document is ready; and even when you follow up they don’t listen and may even write missing/wrong information to the doctor (except one of the receptionists that I didn’t have the opportunity to get her name). Very disappointed

Incompetent receptionist (the older one with short grey hair). Spent 20 minutes in line waiting to check in while she conversated with people ahead and then told me I was 20 minutes late. Then, told me she would go see if the doctor could squeeze me in and proceeded to check in/take calls for another 20 minutes before going to the doctor and loudly announcing I was making excuses about being late. Do better!

I am so excited to share my experience with Dr. Paul Simoncic, who has been our family doctor for four years. Since day one, Dr. Simoncic has given us great care-taken, always taking the time to listen to our concerns and made us feel informed and comfortable regarding our decisions about our healthcare. I must say that his professionalism, compassion, and expertise have made all the difference in my family's health and well-being.

I also want to highlight Jaime, the receptionist at Hazealdean Clinic who consistently impresses with her efficiency and warmth. She always answers the phone promptly and is incredibly polite and kind. It’s a relief to know that I can reach out for help and be met with such a positive attitude.

Dr. Simoncic, along with Jaime, makes every visit at this clinic warm and friendly. I would very confidently recommend Dr. Paul Simoncic and the Hazealdean Clinic to anyone wanting quality health attention for oneself or one's loved ones.

Hazeldean Medical Clinic has been our family's go-to place for any medical needs in the past five years. They are very low key in my opinion but the qualify of service and care is excellent. The receptionist I know the best is Gale. She is a very caring receptionist who helped communicating with the doctor in a timely manner. I am also very impressed at the clinic's appointment reminder and booking system. Definitely working more effectively than my previous clinics. I do not have to worry about missing appointments now.

Dr. Simoncic is our family doctor. He is very well trained and knowledgeable. He made accurate judgement and diagnosis under a few urgent medical situations. He really cares about patients well-beings and actively follows up with all the test results and feedback from specialists. We are very grateful to be under his care.

I have never had such a hard time reaching a medical clinic by phone. I work in a medical clinic and we are understaffed yet never fail to answer or at least call back. I have called at least 10 times at different times of the day to try to get an answer. This has happened multiple times. Absurd.
