Unfortunately with new management and a de-centralized accounts payable and booking departments, we have had many negative interactions with Heart Zap over the last year. This is not the fault of anyone locally, but I can no longer recommend them as a destination for first aid training for businesses. The culmination was when the training that we had booked months ago was canceled days prior to the training again, this after the training was budgeted, communicated to our employees and to our customer. We will move our business to another great local safety training company Algonquin Training Safety.

Fantastic delivery of First-Aid/CPR training. Doing the online portion ahead of time really left time in-class to go over things in more detail. I've been taking first-aid training since I was old enough to lifeguard and Matt was the best, most engaging instructor I've ever had!

Our trainer Matt was very enthusiastic, passionate and extremely knowledgeable. I definitely feel confident with myself to be able to assist with first Aid/CPR in the event it is needed thanks to his teaching methods and the course material provided by Heartzap.

The First Aid training provided by Heartzap Safety Training and Equipment was educational, engaging and well-worth the time commitment. The online content prepared us for the session very well. The educator, Brent Grein, was extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator, and made everyone in the session feel comfortable with the content and more confident should we ever need to assist with Emergency procedures (i.e. CPR, Choking situations, use of AED equipment, etc.). This was a great experience overall.
