As the wife of a resident who stayed at Helen Henderson Care for 16 months, I am immensely grateful for the outstanding care and support my husband received there.
From day one, the staff demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and genuine care, making a challenging period in our lives much more accessible. The nurses and caregivers were attentive and responsive to his needs, ensuring that he was always comfortable and well-cared for.
The management team was also exceptional. They communicated clearly and constantly with us and addressed any concerns we had promptly and effectively. The facility was well-maintained, clean, and welcoming, contributing to a warm and positive environment.
I highly recommend Helen Henderson Care to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones. The team there truly goes above and beyond, and we sincerely appreciate their dedication and kindness.

My family member has had nothing but positive, exceptional care. I feel it
is the best decision, I could have made, and I have seen her health improving ,and her spirits
lifted. They have always been open, and responsive, to any concerns or questions I have had. She is always raving, about how good her meals are, and she says" Everyone treats me so good, and they are all kind". They pay great attention to bathing, and personal care. Her room is always spotless!
Nothing warmed my heart more,than a few days ago, when she called it home. My Mother is safe, and well cared for, and I would highly recommend Helen Henderson as a nurturing, and caring environment for your loved one. Every resident is important to them, that is my impression, and I can see it in how others are cared for as well.

From the minute we arrived at Helen Henderson for our mother's admission it has been a bad experience. We have not had a positive experice yet and it has been several months. Telephone calls are not returned until at least several messages are left, we have no comfort in the care being provided and feel our concerns are not being addressed. We thought that we would have peace of mind once having to make the decision to move her to a nursing home but have had anything but peace of mind. I would not recommend this facility as they have yet to gain our trust. It has felt like a nightmare so far and we have no comfort in the care she is receiving there. Long term care homes should provide the family with relief and comfort and not worry and stress. I usually never psot a negative review and always give businesses the benefit of the doubt but as things are not improving I felt I should speak up as the care of a loved one is too important not to.

I myself am a healthcare worker, and over the 7 years my mother lived at HH, repeatedly saw professionalism and true caring toward all residents. The staff developed a deep bond with my mother. Her last week of life, I moved in to her room...I was fed, welcomed with hugs and treated like family while I held my vigil. Staff and management COULD NOT have been more helpful or kind, and they made a terribly difficult time in my life, gentler and easier.

Helen Henderson Care Centre is a high quality facility. The residents are treated with respect and the staff are friendly and supportive. It has comfortable, home like surroundings and is a safe and clean environment. The services provided there are exceptional!

Staff are regularly sitting /standing in the dirt outside the East building smoking and being loud. Not very classy, or professional.
Sounds unbelievable doesn't it? Don't take my word for it, see for yourselves.
