My mother in law passed her last days at Ruddy Shenkman, very peacefully in a fantastic suite, inside a beautiful environment. The staff, doctors, nurses and volunteers are all first rate and showed our mother nothing but kindness, gentleness and compassion during her last days.
Thanks to all, for treating our mother so wonderfully, in these trying times.

Peaceful place with 24/7 volunteer nurses. They make sure the patients are treated very well and will notify the family if anything does happen.

My mom spent her final 2 weeks here. This place is fantastic: brand new, hotel/apartment style, in a park setting, and with fantastic staff. Everyone from the doctors down to the volunteers is great and has patients best interests at heart. I'm very grateful that my mom had such wonderful people taking care of her. They treated my mom with respect and dignity and made the best of a very sad situation

A welcoming, tranquil, peaceful home-like place with beautiful surroundings where, as my mother said, “you can see the trees dancing from your bed”. The doors were wide enough to bring her entire bed outside which was a wonderful touch. Although, she didn’t want to, it was nice that she had the option. During her stay there, she was wonderfully taken care of by everyone. I am filled with gratitude for the exceptional support and care you showed my mother during her final days with us.

Beautiful peaceful place. Comfortable, home like rooms with a place for family to rest and sleep. Exemplary care for my Dad and our family. Pain was managed very well and Dad was always kept comfortable. Wonderful doctors, nurses, psws, social workers and volunteers. Everyone took the time to answer my questions gently (no sugar coating), reassure me, comfort me and hold me while I cried. Delicious homemade food in freezer for patients while they still ate. I took advantage of everything they offered - music therapy, reiki, massage etc. Wonderful place to die if I can say that - so much better than at home or hospital. Meaningful lighting of the candle and procession when it was all over that I will never forget. Thank you so much!

Excellent staff, professional, respectful, kind and gentle at a very difficult time in my family's life. Facilities are meticulous and beautiful. I am glad my mother was able to die peacefully and with dignity there, when we could no longer give her the care she needed at home. Thank you!

My mother spent her last several weeks at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice and I couldn't have asked for better care. The nurses, PSWs and volunteers had the upmost respect and care for my mother. Her room was extremely spacious and bright, as is the facility. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place.

Bright and warm facility with woodland views from patients rooms, ideal family visiting, incredible compassionate doctor and nurses, supportive volunteers. They provided wonderful care for our daughter in her final days.
