Possibly the worst ER I’ve ever been to. In the fifteen years I lived in Huntsville I can honestly say I never had one good experience in the ER. From a doctor sending me home after a motorcycle accident, only to come back the next day demanding X-rays that revealed several cracked ribs, to being put in a back hallway and quite literally forgotten about, this is the bottom of the barrel for emergency wards. Also note, this only applies to the ER. I’ve had several booked procedures in the hospital and they all went smoothly.

Now, having said that. All of the nurses I’ve met here are absolutely amazing, and I can’t fault them for the incompetence I’ve experienced.

I have never been so well cared for in all my life. Jaclyn (Jack) went above and beyond she made me feel secure and safe. Whatever the outcome she made me feel like I'll be ok. I ended up having a broken bone in foot. She took time to explain how to use the crutches and everything. Thank you Jack for making our experience so good xoxoxoox

Referred my wife to huntsville for second ultrasound. We are so excited its our first time pregnant and but sonographer was rude and not friendly at all, i dont know the reason why. Our first ultrasound was at bracebridge hospital and sonographer there was so nice and friendly she made my wife so comfortable, she showed my wife that everything is okay she also shared the imaging screen and explained everything to my wife. But here in Huntsville my wife asked the lady if everything is okay just give a thumbs up but she completely refused which i get that sometimes you cannot share but there’s alwasy nicer or polite way to refuse at least with a smile.i myself work at td bank and i can never deal with customers without smile on my face. I dont know why you choose the hospitality industry if you can’t be friendly with people. Will go to bracebridge hospital dont mind the drive for friendly and warm experience.

I recently took my daughter to Huntsville District Hospital for an emergency visit, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care we received. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and efficient. The doctors and nurses took the time to listen to our concerns and answered all of our questions with patience and expertise. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for patients and their families. I truly felt like my daughter was in good hands the entire time. I highly recommend Huntsville District Hospital to anyone in need of quality medical care. Thank you to the staff for providing exceptional service during a stressful time. From the moment I arrived(with the help of 2 amazing paramedics) I was treated with a kindness and compassion that that I have never had in a hospital setting before. The doctor introduced herself by her first name.. thanks Dr. Caitlin, you are amazing!! You were a calm during a very scary time and you took your time to explain everything and never rushed. To the nurses, I don't remember all of the names but Emma, Jonathan and Maria, you all are spectacular at your job and I am forever grateful for your compassion and kindness!!! Other hospitals could definetly learn from all of you!!! Thank you !

Thank you for quickly fixing my toddler's nursemaid's elbow when he was in pain in the ER last month. The doctor was so good, she even came to the waiting area to check on him. My brother is in hospital and I did visit last weekend. All people working there are just wonderful and working very hard in very old and not very equipped hospital.
I hope they get better hospital in neer future.

Looks like my negative review disappeared. Here it is again. The doctor that saw me in emergency did not examine me even though I went there for a serious issue. His dismissive attitude was extremely unprofessional.
